Motherwell has its own charm. We used to go to the Dalzell riding school when we were kids. It was not made into apartments at that time. We would ride the horses down the dirt roads and sometimes into the fields. One of my fondest memories growing up. It is a beautiful estate. I’m from a nearby town. Loved to shop in Motherwell too. 3 cheers for Motherwell. 🎉😊❤

The ship was Closed one month ago, and had been for some time, its now getting refurbishment, but the rest is right, Don't visit unless your interested in Boats/ships or golf ;) TBF its not that bad, but there is not a lot to do here. Although there are some great restraunts including Niche and Gulab

Need a bit of an update. Schlitterbahn is gone. Plus you have the national agricultural hall of fame and right next door you have the Renaissance Festival and Sandstone Ampitheater. Not forgetting either that the baseball team that plays at Community America ballpark was renamed the Monarchs.

Best thing to do in Topeka safely is drive through without stopping.

Conroy's Pub on 95th an Nall has great food. Also got axe throwing, rock climbing, and few other things down Metcalf. Best parks nearby though are Antioch and Shawnee. Archery, gun ranges, old Church buildings and Cathedrals are cool. Blue Koi is incredible Asian cuisine. Westport and the Other Place got the night life (stay out of westport).

Shawnee Lake is about the ONLY place to visit in Topeka. However, with all the water, its "swimming beach" is a tightly limited small space with Lifeguards floating everywhere like cockroaches. You're never more than 6 feet from a Lifeguard. Keep in mind the swimming space is practically microscopic. It's insulting. They got this huge lake, but only a teeny tiny roped off space for swimming. Assholes. I was a lifeguard at one time and there was only one lifeguard to a pool, sitting up in a tower seat. Topeka sucks.
