@danieladamczyk4024 I believe a good middle ground of players that want. Perma death and negative side effects, etc. Would be in the chosen difficulty or something you could enable or disable. I don't think it's a git gud problem. Sense I have completed those games. And have one of those games and my all time fav.

@@Arrancar0Hatake There is even better ground. Challenging games or power fantasy. Two different experience for those who seek them. Doing many task at once is fool's errand. In my eyes you seek -Jesus- JRPGs. Story driven when tactical part of performence. Play Trails in the SKY! 🌩NOW!🌩

I don't think a game with perma death is any less challenging than a game without it. For example. Comparing baldurs gate 3. Gears Tactics. Xcom 2. King Arthur. Not one game was hard. Compared to Lost eidolons. I had a hell of a harder time with the final boss in lost eidolons vs those other games I mentioned. A game isn't hard because of perma death. Simply because you will just load up your last save. If a specific character dies from bs. Like your created character in bg3 being pushed off the map. I'll say this with confidence. 99% of players in bg3. Will not accept a perma death on the character that they created. So they will just hot the re load button. Vs if there was no perma death. They would probably play the fight out even if their chreated character falls in battle. Being down 1 person would inherently make that fight harder. I've had a few people. Recommended Trails games. And Perona games. I have at the moment maybe around 50 games in my wishlist.

@@Arrancar0Hatake Dude you control time and space. Deity blood flows in your vains. Without permadeath victory is matter of time. That why you don't reload, lets things happen. It called "Iron man". Power fantasy or trial of wits and luck. Craving both will cause troubles. About having wishlist swolled is great test of your mind. Now look on them and say"nuh bro..".

I had some decent hopes for dicefolk. But can't get past the idea of pretty much playing against myself.

@Leondragon06 Thank you. This game could have easily been around an 8 pushing 9. If they added things mentioned. I am curious, tho. Did a lot of your dialog change based on your morality? Sense you have replayed it.

@alex-uw4mm Yeah, the game sold over 1 million copies. Atlus producer Akiyasu Yamamoto has stated that while Atlus would like to bring the game to PC, a contractual agreement with Vanillaware prohibits it. As a result, there are currently no plans for a PC release of Unicorn Overlord.

They probably don't want their game to be pirated right now.

@@DaveTheeMan-wj2nk not sure how the player base of a single player game corolates to pirating. usually those who pirate do this because they can't get the game or they refuse to spend money on entertainment, the later is rather foolish.

Expeditions rome is a great game. It was made after Expeditions Vikings. Personly Expeditions rome is in my top 5. Turn based games.

Sometimes, I tell myself that starting off on such a great game made it a little hard to find others just as good. Vs if I started off on an ok game, then worked my way up the really good ones.

@danieladamczyk4024 That's a good point. Because I loved xcom 2 so much. I had a decent grasp of what turn based games I wanted to play. Thankfully for you. There are plenty of soul like games.

If we mean beauty as in graphicly pleasing. It would be hmm Baldur's gate 3, Miasma Chronicles, Gears Tactics. If you mean beauty overall. That's pretty hard. So far, I would have to give it to either Xcom 2 or Lost Edilons. But that's just for now. I have only finished about 12 turn based games so far. And, I plan on ranking those games in my subscriber special video. But I don't believe that I played a game so far. That is 100% beauty (100% perfect to me) something on the level of God of war 2018, witcher 3, last of us part 1, resistance 1,2 or dynasty warriors 5 or even mass effect series. What about you. What game to you is 100% beautiful and perfect?.

@@Arrancar0Hatake Nice to see someone who knows that beauty have many names. In graphic department only Metro 2033 maded me go WOW, otherwise as artist graphics are means to the end. For the pure look of it Ni no Kuni serie, Kingdoms of Amalur, Grandia, Aquaria, Maneater, pokemon emerald, are games i can watch for hours. Those that bring joy to my heart are Dark Souls serie, Vice city, Zeno Clash, Aurion Legacy of the Kori-odan and Gothic. And i will harass people to play them.

It does. But I don't know how I'd feel knowing I'm getting weaker as the game goes on.

Its awesome to see people who do like this game. I am glad you had a better experience then me. The game being pricy and short like you said. Is a red flag. Right now on ps store and steam is 35$. That is a bad deal. The game is 12 hours base version. The story fails. The ending is pretty trash. It builds up suspense on the Elder lying about everything. Just to show us he was right. Eden was empty. A bit of a pointless journey. Yes they discovered how they came to be, but technically the Elder saved them. Gave them freedom in the ark, and pretty much raised them to be able to defend themselves. Nothing worth note is in the dialog. I would say xcom is more lenient. You have a bigger squad with diverse abilities. And mutan yero zero gives you 2 action points. Players can easily find themselves. Just reloading then shooting. vs Xcom. Based on your abilities you can have more then 2 actions. So I would say xcom is more lenient.

...Did you really just say XCOM is more lenient. Ok yeah, you definitely have no idea what you're talking about man. I hate to talk crap on someone, but you cant be putting reviews out there when you can not accurately do as such. XCOM actively punishes players doing too well because it wants them to struggle. For starters, shot accuracy in XCOM does not exceed 95% and your squad will definitely wiff a good number of those shots. Not to mention soldiers who are wounded stay wounded for weeks while they heal. And thats not even actually going into how the game is coded to screw you over. Just a basic overlook clearly shows which game is far more lenient. You should not be putting out reviews when you can not talk on the subject. Its irresponsible and damaging to the developer Thank christ you're a small channel with no real reach.

Saying I shouldn't post because you don't agree with what I say is pretty weird. If that was the case, no one would post anything. Sense there is no channel everyone agrees with. To me Xcom is more lenient as to giving you more options to complete the game/ mission. You can have alot of soildes in your ship. More abilities you can use to get you out of situations, useful one and some that will allow you to do more than 1 or 2 or even 3 actions. No need to have so much anger my guy. I'm not going to stop posting because you wouldn't want me to. You don't have to watch anything of mine. I didn't force you to watch my video. Start your own channel. Talk about the games you like and whatnot. I do see how you addressed only 1 thing I said and ignored everything else.

Its not a matter of disagreement. Its a matter of being factually incorrect. And its such a big error that there is not point in engaging with each point when you cant even get the simple things right. I agree that people with many different opinions should be posting and sparking conversations, but the bare minimum is them to be knowledgeable on the topic they're talking about.

Deciding which game is lenient isn't a bare minimum of being knowledgeable over turn based games. I've only been playing turn based games for a year and half now. So I'm not a veteran, and I honestly don't care if I am or not. This is my channel and my opinions. Who knows. Years down the line of might feel different about this game. Doubt it. But who knows. This channel is only a year and a half old. Posted my first video about my 1st turn based game. I don't watch other turn based channels. I play by my rules. Not yours.

Very true, it would have been a give and take. Like instead of any of the work of the dlc could be any of the things I talked about. Of the work that was put into the side missions could have been different of scrapped to add something else.

Baldurs gate 3 won game of the year. The player base is there for sure. I think they just needed more pull to bring in the already existing fan base plus marvel fans. If the game is good enough then people who dont really like the genre will get into it.

No, people were disappointed by the turn base combat. If they had a real time combat system with cool combos they would have succeeded

Tip my hat off for making it a turn based game. Plenty of us where happy to see a turn based marvel game. Just some things they could have done to make it better.

Yeah I thought mine was a glitch as well. I uninstalled then reinstalled it. Same thing happened.

Feels like something they really should try and fix given how jarring and out of place it feels.

Turns out it *is* a glitch: Christopher Odd's walkthrough has the full cutscene courtesy of the devs directly sending footage of it as intended because it failed to proc for him completely as well Basically Ford stops the team but the Judges stop him from executing them, forcing him to run
