This app does not show the MAC address or distance as shown on the video. All I get is N/A No services. Pretty useless in the UK for me

i downloaded the "BLE scanner" on my android phone and it shows so many "mac addresses" and someone said it is people who took the jab. i went to walgreens since they give the jab there and i got over 200 "BLE mac addresses" when no one was in the store by the pharmacy. is it true it is the people who took the jab?
No.
But did you look at how far away they were? It gives the distance for each one in meters. It was probably showing you all the people or devices from all the other stores around Walgreens too.
@@suzettemiller9444 i got a different app and walgreens paramacy had around 1000 BLE addresses with something called "beacon" next to the BLE. i also tested 2 friends who got 2 or more injections and at first they had a BLE then i asked them to put their phone in the other room and the distance of the BLE mac address changed. it was the phone not her or the other girl who took it. their phones did not show up as beacon on the app

SERIOUS TECHNICAL QUESTION: Below the Signal Strength icons there appears to be Apple and Windows logo's in my results, are these Apple Earbuds? Windows headsets? As they are mostly Non Connectable, some show as connectable and some show as a Phone icon. Are these Apple and Windows Logos accurate?? Are they 100% an Apple or Windows device?

What does "adv" stand for?
Adv stand for how fast device is advertising its signal. i.e. if device is advertising its presence in 1/2 sec then its show approx. adv interval as 500ms.

On Android 12 I can not find some beacons with it. other apps like light blue can find those beacons

You have to change this in your phone settings as they are eliminating the capabilities so that you cannot determine who's been vaccinated

@@snarevox Cell phones do not emit unnamed, random BLE MAC Addresses. They emit standard BT protocol MAC Addresses that have a valid hardware vendor ID, unlike the vaccination Bluetooth emissions.

What information does the icon under the RSSI circle give me and what feature on the Bluetooth device decides which icon is displayed? Some entries have a smartphone, others have an Apply icon. However, the vendor is often not found for such entries. If I search for the first three digits of the Mac address myself, I don't find a vendor either.
Gary Baldi, Icon below the rssi circle is indicating a device type. If it is display phone icon then that means it is a custom BLE device. If it has Apple icon then it means that device is apple device i.e. iPhone, iPad or Airtag. If it display circle that means it is a iBeacon device.

@@snarevox they show up as random numbers like 5B:68:7C and so on. Test it on a known vaxxed person you now. They should move on the radar.

No, It is not use to detect the vaccinated people. BLE Scanner can not detect the Vaccinated people or MAC address. Its only detect the Bluetooth devices which are advertising its presence in the vicinity.

Not everyone has bluetooth vaccinated. Yesterday I was at the swimming pool and there were a bunch of unknown bluetooth addresses around me. They are not smart watches, they are not mobile phones because they are listed. People are almost naked and do not have any devices and this scanner reads them in the environment and as they approach and they move away. What is it then?

Hello Marisa, You can find the subtitles in Spanish language by selecting the settings icon on video and select subtitles as Spanish.

Hey, I'm pretty new using BLE scanner, so I would like to ask if do you guys know if it's possible to have an app running Bluetooth scans on background nonstop? I know it's not battery efficient, but it would be for some testing. Because the problem I have is that the OS kills the process once the app starts to run background. Atm using ignore battery optimization. Thanks!
