How to install / replace lead flashing, lean to tiled in roof
In this video I will be showing you how to install lead flashing from taking measurements, forming the lead, fixing the lead, dressing the lead and then finishing off.

The guy using the paddle is retarded though
Regardless of the user, hate the paslodes, servicing, inflated prices paying for and smelling the gas, wind up time, noise...pox guns.
One also weighs twice as much as the other
This method works on any tile profile 👌
Fair play lad … tidy work & good technique Keep busy 🏴
Thanks 👍
You noticed any problems with lead mastic. I'm seeing alot on sites these days cracking. Looks like it's shrinking and there like it's leaked oil out of the mastic can see brown oily stains on it. Just convinced a local roofing merchant's to switch, the problematic mastic are either premium or bond it possibly both.
@@P4ULM4C I’ve not had any issues with it mate
We only use CT-1 never any shrinkage or cracking. Bit more expensive than other sealants but you get what you pay for.
What nail gun was that?
Hikoki 👌🏻 fully electric good bit kit
How de doo de, I don't know what state you live in buddy, but big no no - Building Code calls for tar paper under the shingles and cut carboard shingles with scrissors!
This is in the UK mate not US and our tiled roof systems last much longer than shingles
Well u can't do that on sites Cutting the tiles To avoid red card😂
But you did not nail the tile before the cut tile, won't it come loose?
No will be fine if you nail the one next to it you would struggle to pull it out.
No battery nail gun can compete with a healthy lithium paslode !
Ya or just move to America. You won’t have to do this. Plus we will save you from the nazis 😂
Hikoki es la misma que metabo?
Hikoki es la antigua Hitachi y creo que hikoki es la dueña de metabo y sino la reves 😅
Use a template and a measuring tape,
Get you pasload serviced
Only ever seen it done on pan tile tbh but class workmanship 👍
Any one with a brain would have worked it in for valley tiles
😂👍🏻 okay fella
Even I could do it with them instructions 😅
Looking in the sky for the bald eagle like 👀
Nice to see someone taking time and perping out and using their brain. Not all this lift up and guessing the cut and saying. WONT SEE IT FROM THE GROUND. Nice job. Start loading more up.
Know your own tricks best
Do more videos like this please, love it 😎
I taught you everything you know I want half the profit from this video x
Maybe tri using an updated paslode 🍩
Is that cuz paslode is very old?
Impressed mate 24 yr old roofer from London
I find it the best way mate get a nice strait line 🔨 always good to learn people’s techniques 🤙🏻
Love those tiles.
Nice Work
That seems about right
😂
I am make sure the bozo knows how to use the gun. You have to keep the tip press down and then apply pressure to the trigger.
Probably the worst gun I’ve ever bought yes good on bump mode been back under warranty 5 times the batterys hav got air vents in witch water gets in been using with paslodes nails for a year no problem wudnt fire went bk for that got it back again fine for 3 or 4 months then coil on nail loader went never again then when under warranty getting pissed about to get it fixed say don’t use paslode nails when it advertises for any nails stick to paslode bad design the problem is with the nail loader still got a year and half on warranty the nail loader getting smashed up with a hammer n sent back am going to say it fell off the scaffold coz the repair company who they contacted to haven’t done a thing fed x picked it up came bk still broken foaming a been ringing parts company’s just to get separate nail loader impossible do not by this gun if your a roofer no way and do not buy a Milwaukee even heavier then this gun took a chance never again don’t waste the 550 the 3rd party repair company is a joke the don’t care that why am going to smash it so they’l hav to fix it the slinks
He’s not worthy of wielding a Paslode at that Pace 😂
I have the same issue with pasload. You need to hit it hard to be able to nail it. And sometimes it dry shoots.
And air lines
Hahahahahahahah 3.2.1. TAKE THE SPRINGS OFF
Hi mate. What size nails do you recommend for the Hikoki when fixing battens to rafters?
90 mm
HAHAHA~ Love HIKOKI, BUT MUCH HEAVIER THAN Paslode 😭
