@@Fony_turgeson Yes, all your physical controls for HVAC certainly still work. You can also long hold the menu button at any time to easily switch back to the factory screen. You do not lose any factory functionality

@@citizenpark2782 It’s not that bad. It’s a 12-15 screen that is really about 20 year old tech at this point (Toyota used same screen tech starting in 2007). It’s made for static images more than dynamic graphics. CarPlay looks sweet but it’s by no means an iPhone.

Zachary, are you sure it is our system and not another company’s? Our system uses your factory head unit for audio. Can you send us a picture of the sticker on your box or email us and we can send you instructions on how to verify if this is a Hamilton kit. Thanks

@@jairortiz4329 We have a full install video for Tacoma. Search Tacoma on our TH-cam channel. The cheap ones that only go through the wiring harness are really bad. For Tacoma, you need to physically install it into the circuit board like ours for high res graphics and stable performance.

Yes, you can leave the Sirius XM box installed we can send you pics how to do that. The OEM USB connector will unfortunately generally override the BT connection as Toyota defaults to USB. It is best to use our new USB.

@@Sheheryarasif-io7he Thanks for commenting. Ours is made by our manufacturing partner in China. You can see pictures of us working together on our FB and IG. You are right there are tons of cheaper options out there. They are sold by companies that import from mass-produced Chinese manufacturers who only test their products on Chinese-spec vehicles. These companies will test one model of Lexus and develop 10 products with that same data. Their products frequently have bugs and are made to be inexpensive. These companies have no idea how to install their products or how to solve their issues. We develop all our products using CanBus data from vehicles in NC. We test and refine every model we sell. We work directly with a custom manufacturer and have direct control over software development, improvements, and bug fixes. You can make an iPhone in China; you can also make a $50 junk smartphone in China. You get what you pay for in electronics. This is not an easy business and we don’t have wild margins. Companies reselling mass-produced low-end products don’t last long. They often go out of business when their customers turn angry and pop up as another brand later.

The speaker is for mixing sounds from navigation into the factory radio (FM, AM, XM). This allows you to listen to factory satellite radio for example and still have Siri talk in front of it. Of course when listening to Apple Music/Spotify/Pandora/Sirius XM app/etc the navigation voice will talk out of your car speakers. For folks who aren't big XM or FM users, it is not really needed.

Generally speaking it will hold the wireless CarPlay.

Probably your phone is switching between our BT network (your new network) and your original. You need to make sure your original BT is off. Your car needs to be set to Aux mode. Can you please checkout our Forum post here and make sure you follow all these steps closely. Unfortunately, not with the factory screen. I am not sure the feasibility of swapping it out for a newer screen. It would need to be at least 2015. That would be pretty involved.
