I know this is an old video now but can the trigger be from existing locks, eg I’ve done an engine swap and used donor car full loom, but donor car Audi a3 3 door, project is 5 door so at the moment no wiring in place for rear door locks so would this fix my issue ?

The speaker cost more than the car but I respect that 😅

There’s a comment here that I can relate to. Retaining the factory subwoofer in an 04 Pilot. I had seen a video using the KTP-190U previously and was leaning that way. Having seen your video and answer about a stinger 2 channel or a Boss CE102, I’m having second thoughts about the Alpine-190U. I love my Pilot….but not enough to spend $$$$ on a new sub and amp. I’m planning on replacing the head unit with a JVC KW-56OBT. The question is, since you made the video and answered the post it’s been over three years. Is there something you would now recommend that’s newer? Truly appreciate your answer. Thanks in advance.

Hoping the glare isn't as bad as the later model x500 I'm replacing, could hardly see the display during the day and seems to be a problem with kenwoods specifically. Other than that this thing seems great specwise, 13 band EQ, dual sub outs, bluetooth, FLAC support, and something the 500 doesnt have, DUAL color options for the LEDs.

Would you go 2, 12s tw3 or 1 of those 13s TW5?????

What do you have that’s a really good double din HU’s for my 2002 Suburban and 2006 Odyssey with time alignment, parametric eq. And at least a rear camera input and front doesn’t hurt. At least 5v pre’s and they will be hooked up to some Poweramper sound quality amps.

So I found this setup wired in a truck that a bought with a positive and negative (I assume) trigger wire running over to the drivers side of the truck with a small 2 pin plug on it. It appears that maybe someone removed the radio triggered portion of the system. What should I buy to put in its place to restore the keyless entry? Is there a wireless reversing relay out there?

nice comparison. I currently have 3x 15year old JL 10w0 powered by a 600watt 2ohm JL amp behind the seat of my truck. I would like to upgrade these subs to the JL shallow series but cannot decide if I should do 2x 12TW1, 2x 10tw3 or one 13tw5. I think I leaning to the Tw1's in 12" for the must output but wondering if the 10" tw3 with the large Xmax will be louder?
