That shotcrete takes 28 days to cure alone and that thinset and grout takes 14 days to cure. The math isn’t mathing here
@@brandondias2881 Thanks for your input! Just to clarify, this isn’t shotcrete-it’s gunite. Our entire process is approved and engineered to meet all standards. We can’t stay stuck in the past forever; even Elon Musk is landing rocket boosters back on Earth! Progress is key. In 25 years of construction with pools and homes, we’ve never had a single issue with any of our projects. Concrete and other structures from ancient times are still standing strong today. The truth is, the most vulnerable time for concrete is right at the start, but it continues to cure and harden over time. If there’s no issue on day one, it’s unlikely there will be any in the future-unless outside forces come into play.
It’s your company at the end of the day but me personally I would give it proper cure time cause there’s always other job that can be worked on while that one is curing. I like to limit my risk of warranty exposure as much as possible. Either way it looks great.

I bet the neighbors are absolutely thrilled you finished in 11 days and didn’t leave a mess or construction noise or debris for months! Our neighbor’s pool builder has left a pile of dirt on the sidewalk and street for over a month!! We cannot even walk on the sidewalk and their pavers have been sitting there just as long. Clients love your high energy and motivation to get the job done ASAP! That’s why we’ve chosen Umbare to build our pool!
I’m sure the neighbors are looking out the window wondering what’s all the commotion going on and I can’t wait till this 11 day party is over. I always think to myself that I know I’m not the only person that exist and if I live in close proximity to my neighbors then I’ll be respectful as much as I can. The weekends might be a little more of a let loose situation which is to be more expected but still not trying to be obnoxious or hated to my neighbors. Maybe a microphone would be in the works so your not having to holler too much.
