Plasti Dip Removal DIY
มุมมอง 705 ปีที่แล้ว
Short video of how I used lighter fluid to remove Plasti Dip paint that was applied in a thin layer. Too thin to peel! I did end up using some 0000 Fine Grade Steel wool, saturated with lighter fluid. To remove some Plasti Dip, that was a little more stubborn! I hope this video helps you! Please like and share!

You know it’s not necessary to remove bumper to get at those screws. Harder? Yes, but doable. Just as much a hard time to line up bumper perfectly than before so for next time give it a shake, unless you like removing bumper.
How do you get to those bolts below?
I had to remove my rear bumper cover!
@@determineddad7935 you have to reach through the license plate hole. It's tight but it's doable, and under the bumper cover.
@Young Simba Sorry, I just saw these posts. All late about it. You need to get at those through the the license plate, under the the bumper. It's challenging, yes. It is doable. I did it and didn't damage my tail lights, which is very easy to do with those plastic prongs, and left my bumper on. Trust me, you can do it.
I also went under the the car and had a long extension. If and when I have to do this again I will do it the same way. Those bumper tabs are hard to line up right if you don't. All this time later, I am sure you have already done it but if not, now is the perfect time.
Good job Dakota blue
