Well this proves you can take a classic instrumental piece from Disney and realise it electronically incredibly faithfully lol You should maybe try to add in the Trust In Me song music into this as an extension for a new video performance. That song has always been apart of this particular music and it would probably sound as cool as this.

Can you help me find a specific race (~ mid 2k) where twin white A4's we're killing it on the track...beating the 911 gt3's. For many years I've been searching for those cars and that race....looked like Laguna Seca but not sure.

I think you did the right thing but didn't quite explain it clearly. I imagine you determined on the ground how much you needed to spin the trim wheel in order to get the trim tab to move 5 degrees, and then repeated this in flight?
No. The trim wheel has a display, I set it to 5deg nose down, then released the yoke to see what would happen. The point was to simulate what would happen if she mis-trimmed the plane with the autopilot engaged,, and the result when the autopilot disengaged

Aviation can kill you on a good day. These aren’t toys. In the military there was a weeding out process. Even getting a pilot slot was difficult. In GA anyone with money can do it no matter their actual abilities. Even though I have a CFI and have over 1000hrs instructing in the military, this is why I don’t instruct GA. The standards are different as are the goals. I don’t understand how TNflygirl ever made it through a check ride. It know, it is a harsh statement, but maybe if someone had raised the flag earlier, she and her father would still be alive. Where is that responsibility?
I think even in GA at some point the onus is on the instructor to sit someone down and tell them that flying isn’t for them. I think everyone has the ability to fly GA safely to at least some extent, even if it’s only fair weather flying at small airports, but not everyone has the attitude. It takes the ability to self reflect, take it seriously, and be honest with yourself in setting personal minimums. TNFlyGirl, however, was probably at the edge of the envelope in terms of competence. I don’t know how, after that many hours in a plane, she struggled so much with straight and level flight that she so was task saturated with just keeping the plane in the air that she was unable to manage the very basics of navigation and working the avionics.
fly girl it appears just did not have basic pilot instincts when you nose over into a dive the first instinct is to pull the power then recover I suspect thats what you did.. And I suspect since in most of her flights her use of power was not constant at all like keeping your hand on the throttle most of the time.. most of her flights her hands are every where but where they should be. So unusual attitude like you just demonstrated pull power to idle ease back on the joke to slow the decent and come out of the dive add power as you level off.. but to be fair if one of the cables busted then all bets are off .. Hopefully this will be determined
And yet you had no trouble arresting that 3000fpm descent. She was in a 12000 fpm descent at 228knts. Unless the control cable broke prior to impact, I do not understand how she could not arrest that descent unless of course she was so distracted in the cockpit she did not realize she was descending at that rate. After all, from 6000ft she had very little time to grasp the situation. Hopefully the go-pro cameras will reveal what actually happened.
if the autopilot disengaged and the plane pitched over instantly...it might have been beyond the pilots' capabilities to recover. Yes I had no problem, I was prepared...but I also know how to trim my plan and correctly use the autopilot
@@davidfarmerracing I find it difficult to believe she could not recover from a "pitch over" from 6000' unless there was a mechanical issue, ie. broken elevator cable. I know the NTSB has shown the picture of the elevator cable after the crash showing the classic "broom straw" break, but who's to say that did not happen prior to the crash and was the reason she didn't recover. Hopefully her go-pros will show something.
on a clear blue day there is no way she did nto realize she was in a dive or descending at that rate.. second it happens you close the throttle it is very instinctive when you see mother earth rushing at you ..

So if I understand this correctly, at this high rate of descent and speed…pulling back on the yoke sufficiently enough may not be possible for her due to the forces in effect? Would it require a high degree of strength at that point? Maybe above her ability. I’m not a pilot so forgive my ignorance @@davidfarmerracing

I believe that the vast majority of her 400 hours, she had a CFI or CFII in the right seat. Possibly only did the minimum solo flying, to get her private. Her dad wasn’t a pilot. Jenny lacked the understanding of the fundamentals of flight. On almost every flight, she climbed at lower power settings (speed decayed), did not adjust her constant speed prop or lean the mixture. I’d imagine that several times, she had been close to running out of fuel🥴.

@@davidfarmerracing very well explained and demonstrated in as you say shocking for sure - and that’s even for a skilled pilot and not trying to be disrespectful but I don’t think jenny had very well honed “stick and rudder” or even much spatial awareness skills so I think she just would’ve been a passenger at that point
When would you ever want 5° pitch down? As a non-pilot that seems like something that wouldn't ever be useful.
there was a recent crash where NTSB found the plane 5deg pitch down. Previous videos made by the deceased pilot showed she had a poor understanding of her aircraft and autopilot. This is to show an example of the repercussions of getting into this condition. "TNFlyGirl" was her handle if you want to learn more about her crash
@@davidfarmerracing yes, I was hoping you could give an example of when 5° pitched down would be used? 1-2deg maybe, but 5 seems extreme enough to never be useful.
@@vica153depending on configuration, cg, flight conditions, etc, 5* down may be appropriate.
You would use a lot of down trim with flaps deployed and a high power setting.
@@vica153Its always nice to have a little extra as opposed to running out. The aircraft can have all manner of performance envelopes depending on loading and configuration.
