Why is the reels on top the rod? Only seen people sea fishing with them underneath, when I seen the way you reel them in with loops and reel on top I though am I doing it wrong

I’ve tried hair rigging baits for years and found no difference to hook ups , I tried them on carp, tench ,for last 15 years , and honestly seen no difference if I put a hook into bait.. what surprises me, is good anglers, people fishing for years , trying this hair rig, when they done well without. Ritchard like your vids, but trust me, the new rig. Dongle they call it, not hair rig will soon die it’s death, a fad that people jump onto, but soon will be forgotten 👍

Think the days of the BC being a cod fishery are long over. Sad but true. Better off just targeting Bass, Rays, conger and the ocasional smoothie.

Mate put a 2 litre lump out of a cortina in a mk2 back in the 80s. We was around 18 yrs old. Didnt uprate anything just a straight swap. Needed bags of cement in the back. Too keep it from sliding out around corners.. straight through cherry bomb exhaust.Blew up on way back from cornwall after nearly killing us with exhaust fumes and leaving the starter motor on the road somewhere around falmouth.😂
