I am a single mom to a 12 year old girl who was in public school. In the 2010-2011 school year she entered 6th grade. She was always in honors classes. This year in 6th grade she kept having issues with a science project, I met with the teacher and he told us these EXACT words "DUMB IT DOWN" He said she was trying to hard. I thought they were supposed to teach to reach for the stars, they did not agree so she is NOW home schooled! Everyone needs to think outside of the box and reach 4the stars
