The Resonance Collective
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 1 ธ.ค. 2020
The Resonance Collective is a group of NYC-based string players with a diverse range of expertise who have joined forces to merge new classical music with chamber jazz. With a line-up that ranges from a string quartet to a jazz orchestra, its members are Grammy-nominated musical omnivores who have performed in major venues throughout the world. They have made music with major artists including Steve Reich, Maria Schneider, Paquito D’Rivera, Brad Mehldau, Chris Thile, Bjork, Kurt Elling, Esperanza Spalding, and Yo Yo Ma.
The musicians of Resonance Collective bring their wealth of experience as jazz artists, new music champions, vocalists, fiddlers, and composers to a unified mission of more clearly defining and innovating the genre of contemporary chamber jazz. Through live performances, recordings, and new music commissions, they passionately aim to bring this under-appreciated genre to wider recognition.

Just when you thought singing this was difficult, this is just superhuman!
Could you pick a more difficult Jacob song to record? x) The rhythm is so all over the place in that one. Great job!
absolutely stunning!! great pick for a launch,, really shows each one's musicianship ((:
Wow!!!
This is just amazing
Wonderful. Loved the original solo
Should have 100k views by now
OH MY GOD
How did you get that shimmery chorusing effect at 3:24? It sounds awesome!
There's some post production love in there!!
Marta Bagratuni is one of the most beautiful creatures I've ever seen.
We AGREE!!!!!
Amazing performance but this stressed me out to an absurd degree
We'll take it as a compliment!!! :))
Solo was killer.
Excellent performance. Cool solo. I wonder how difficult it is to tackle all those magical microtonal nuances. Looking forward to hearing more of you!
Thank you so much teteraf! I wonder which parts exactly in the video? The piece was extremely difficult to get the rhythm tight!
holy
made my ENTIRE DAY <3
Wow
3:05 Woah. That ending.
So good!

Adam Neely sent me
Ha! we just *might* have something with Adam in the future!
@@theresonancecollective2439 Dude, that would be so cool!
OMG. This is FANTASTIC. Absolutely brilliant. This is already my new addiction.
whooo! thanks so much!
Classical cats as proponents of Jacob's work. This. As long as we break through the genre walls which limit our attention and our thinking, the possibilities are ENDLESS. Hey The Resonance Collective - pretty sure you just changed the game. Great playing. You made it sound fresh and new - tell me parts of that didn't remind you of Bartok 🥰👌
Wow. This comment means the world to us. Thank you so much. We're going to try to break the barriers for sure!! Jacob's music is obviously genius and was very difficult to play, but even more rewarding!
Hearing those pyramids was insane! Really loved this.
Are you wanting to be a feature in a Jacob Collier track? Because, this is how you become a feature in a Jacob Collier track.
ha! That would be our DREAM!!!
Fire
