Yellowstone Fall 2024 - Day 2 of 7 - Pika, Norris Geysers, Sunset, & More.
Welcome to my Fall Trip to Yellowstone in 2024. My family and I spent 7 days in the park at Slough Creek Campground. We saw lots of wildlife. Not as many wolves and bears as we would like, but still ended up seeing around 10+ bears and a couple wolves.

This is the final part of my unplanned weekend I spent in the Tetons in late October of 2023. It got very cold and we ended up just sleeping in the bed of my cousin's truck. Good on you for not flying that drone in the park! I was up there at the beginning of June this year and busted some people flying a drone and they ran from us and we were on the phone with the cops and they did get busted and we give a statement the guy admitted it and it was a $450 fine and a mandatory court appearance...... I don't know what happened to the drone and the memory card but the cop took it with them for evidence
Why would you not go all the way down to Bridge Bay and Fishing Bridge if you're already to Canyon?
Did you have a permit to fly the drone?
Drone footage was from outside of the park near Gardnier and near Cooke City.
@@ThunderQuest Thanks for the clarification. More recently I have seen Rangers stopping drone pilots and requesting their permits. A big fine if they didn't have one. The NPS has cracked down on the use by the general public and serious about permits for person using one for any commercial use. I get asked many times just about my pro camera gear and have to make sure that I have my commercial permits on me. With that said my last visit to Yellowstone in mid April yielded so wonderful images that were well worth the initial hassle. Best wishes
