im from Scotland (i grew up there) but most of my fam is from england so i have a twang but i recently moved to london and i keep having to repeat myself so people know what im saying even though ITS NOT THAT STRONG IF AN ACCENT. even though have some problems with having an accent in england , im trying to maintain my accent (im at an age where my accent can change) If you have any tips for maintaining accents, i would appreciate them.

I looked up legal tender and it has a really limited meaning, relating to the payment of debts in court. It doesnt mean what people think it means, and any business can choose what payment forms they will and wont accept - theres no type any business is required to accept under law. Quite interesting.

The embarrassing braveheart comments...... Scottish banknotes aren't sterling. Bank of England notes are. It tells you on them, if you can read properly.

This is interesting as I've heard a lot of stories about Scotland and the Scottish 😂 with prejudice and difficult with anyone outside their village never mind a foreigner yeah just a few here .. an Scotish guy driving pass a car accident and instead of helping he yelled back to a friend back to your country (shes not white) and other reacist stuff ! She took his number plate took him to court and won and told judge to donate to charity! Not even the money I want from this person (shes a professional quite successful one). The other one similar story with neighbours Polish lady work hard as cleaner (whilst they are on benefits) and was told by neibour the same so many other stories. Sadly Scotland or England? Ive heard much less in fact none in England. Try living in Scotland as a foreigner 😂 yep and good luck with intergrating making friends and dealing in a daily basis with that 😂you will definitely will need more than one lifetime and luck to make friends ifyou do !

Simple dont shop there if you are Scottish or have Scottish bank notes,Then they wont have the extra administrative burden of having to purchase additional stock for there shop!simple.

I have a simple way of dealing with businesses that refuse to take my money. I take my business elsewhere to someone who will actually appreciate it.

They obviously don't want or need the business. Anyway,what administrative hassle are yo talking about. The bank doesn't have a problem with Scottish money.
