Angie Dickson🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉aos 2:12 e Starsky e Hutch aos 1:56. Sensacional
I hadn't seen this clip since 1983, and it was the 1st time I had seen Janet Jackson perform. I was 13 or 14 at the time, and was enthralled by her with this performance. The first single of hers I found was Come Give Your Love To Me when visiting my cousin up in the summer of 1983, and I still have it. My uncle had a jukebox in their wreckroom and he let me put it in it and I listened to it constantly until I bought her first album at the local Kmart in my home town of 6,000 people in northern Iowa. My first celebrity crush since Cher when I was 4 or 5 watching Sonny and Cher on tv.
Those songs that year lol 😆.
Its something how it SEEMS LIKE they are dancing to 'Lets All Chant' even though they are dancing to other songs. Your brain makes that adjustment in such an interesting way !
He could have had the same big success like George Benson being a jazz artist who sings pop music but he didnt get that success.
Gotta love her!💃🏻
Rockys Dad Johnny Burnette was a great 50s singer back in my day...
Studio 54 BABY
GOAT 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Fantástico 👏👏👏
Danse sobre et efficace
This was and still is one of my all time favorites 1978 was a great year such fond memories attached to this song. It did not get the love it deserved great great dance song.
Adrienne was the bomb. But honestly Bee Arthur sucked.
Arthur know he low key sweatin the hell out of it. 🤣
Mi viene in mente solo una cosa: che fighe MONDIALI! 😁
I was blessed to have lived through Dolly's musical transformations in the 70s and 80s. Can you imagine her real country fans seeing and hearing their Dolly making these bold musical moves? Was scandalous at the time. I was there cheering her on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was so strategic in garnering a broader audience. That calculated risk certainly paid off.
As a child I thought she was so beautiful with her long braids. My brother and I would do the dances 😂
Lip sync era….great song though👍
Sounds a lot the singer of Prism in the song Don’t let him know.
There are many ways to describe a woman's attractiveness... Cute, Pretty, Beautiful and Sexy. They are all different things. A woman can possess one or more of these traits.... Adrienne Barbeau has 3 of the 4 ❤
I can only imagine this sexy lady getting on top of me.... A young man can dream ❤
Janet always had it coming. She was always going to be a huge success. She had the looks, the talent, and the drive. But after the Control album she swore off performing any of these songs from the very early days of her career though some of them were really good. Her label back then didn't do a good job at promoting her music. And, can we talk about those Solid Gold dancers? Those girls were seriously working it in the opening sequence of this performance. Interesting how the two guys are doing the same dance moves but its just not as awesome to watch as when the ladies do it.
Work it girl.
A charting hit for Ruby & the Romantics, 1963, as "Hey There Lonely Boy"
I didn't know Adrienne had a body.
1975 was the beginning of the disco era up until about 1982. I was 22-29 years old during those years………best times of my life. Every bar and disco, straight and gay, were packed with lines down the street to get in. Why? People “went out” back then. There were no cellphone’s or dating apps! It was mind-blowing compared to the sad scene now!
Que lindo el disco..
I remember when i waited all week to see this episode i was 12 omg i thought he was gorgeous 😍 ❤❤
I waited for this solid gold episode all week I was 12
This one brings back some great memories. High School class of 1975 here.
A lot of far away shots. She was a great singer but her overweight and bad choice in clothes was always her problem.
The woman in you - The bee gees.
Album original soundtrack movie stayin alive.
Movie theme from motion picture soundtrack stayin alive.
I was 6
That woman at 3:09 clapping looks like a dead horse 🤣
Interesting that she was so sexualised at age 17. These days the conservative right would be calling it grooming
1978 great year for music on 8track tapes😊
Atemporal. Maravilhosa 👏🤩
interesting (:
Nothing like VHS!
Alot of work getting those dancing clips. Well done . Loved this :)
My childhood dream was to be a Solid Gold dancer 😂
I farted all over my balls
Oh to be able to move like that once again!🎉 Afraid it would put me in the hospital now😅
❤❤❤❤YES!!!!, AND SHE IS THE SEXIEST IN THIS ONE ❤❤❤2024 CUTIE PIE IN THE YELLOW, AT THE SCRAMBLE BOARD...THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO.❤❤❤
LUDES
Thank you for your hard work on giving credit to the dancers
For some reason, this song makes me think of "Americathon!"
Jhon Travolta? 😮
