What is the brand of that holster?
Some of thses are very tight, and difficult to get the locking pin to fully recede while also pushing it on. Suggest standing up the rifle, barrel to the floor. Use your hands to recess the lock mechanism like he showed, and your chest or stomach to apply downward pressure to seat it.
What make and color are the upper and lower?

I have an older (2015-vintage) Daniel Defense M4A1, and I’ve noticed that the locking tabs seem a lot stiffer compared to newer stocks. I swap my factory DD stock for a SOPMOD stock on a regular basis, and removing/putting on the DD stock never seems to get any easier, even though I’m used to it at this point.
Fuck this stupid stock.
No way the spring in mine seems too heavy.... installing new... this is ridiculous... need three hands... does not compress so easily as in video here. And pulling down? Yeah.... no... can't grip well enough... its there a happy tool to install this with???

Just recently bought one for shits and giggles. Still waiting on it in the mail, I have a magpul on it currently but I just couldn’t get over the looks of this one. Worst that can happen is I don’t like it and find something else and sell it to a buddy for cheap.

How does the x300 feel with the IWB tier 1 holster ? When you sit is the end of the flashlight poke you uncomfortably?
Honestly, adding the light makes the holster wider and you really need a good belt but no, when you think about the light, you can feel it but then you forget. The only time when it gets a little uncomfortable is getting in and out of the car and when i sit i have to readjust which is normal but if i could do it again I would get something more streamline like their XIPHOS V2 and a spare mag in a carrier for my weak side. I think it was too much for me and my body shape you know trial and error, I'm 5'9 160lbs so I'm thin and it makes me look like I'm literally packing heat and something else know what I'm saying haha too much bulk!
I get that, I’m the same build just a few inches taller. I have a tier 1 holster with the attached mag on my week side. I carry a Glock 19 with rmr, no light as of now. Was thinking about this exact setup and stubbles across the video. Only think I am worried is with how far the x300 extends out. Like you said it can get uncomfortable. If only the holsters weren’t $160 and took a month to ship.

You forgot the o ring and also I just got my fn 509c tac and bought the Olight baldr pro and when I put it on it has over hang and pushes up against the trigger guard so it sits at a slight angle did you have this problem with the sure fire x300? I was really wanting a laser light combo but is looking like I’m just gonna be able to get a light only if I want to get a tier1 holster 😢
I did install the o ring but I had to cut the footage because I didn't understand the paper on the set up 😂 I over think everything but yeah the TLR-8 is another great option, I got the surefire more for anesthetics with the tact variant lol. T1C holsters are awesome and they're comfortable you do pay a premium for that though
This was good advice but I was still having a hell of time taking it off. Ended up flipping it over with the lower detached. Putting my foot on the pedal and then pulling with both hands on the tab. Came off instantly
Yeah I ended up putting out another video that's way shorter and I'm able to do it with both hands that time instead of one like in this video haha that design is terrible lol

Why is it stupid? Other than you just saying so? DD furniture is actually really nice looking and doesn’t look like everything else
Now throw it away and buy a Magpul stock.
So... the Daniel Defense stock performs well, locks up tight. HOWEVER, while I appreciate the unique appearance and changeable butt pads, the wickedly visable seam lines in their injection-molded parts are completely unacceptable for a stock that's $80 or more. Magpul quality per price seems superior. Live and learn.

What an absolutely terrible design.
Guns can be so fun and necessary, but the process makes me laugh😃 I bought my FN 509T (black) with a TLR-8 light/green beam setup. I couldn't find a safariland holster for that setu, so I had to order a custom one. It had no retention and was not safe for my duty. I found out that safariland supported a FN 509T setup with a Surfire 300x, full rentention and all. I had that delivered and let me say it is not the easiest holster to draw from slow or fast, I was disappointed... So then I decided to.... Buy a Glock 17 Gen 3 in Olive Drab. I picked up a level 3 rentention for that with no light source or optic, and it works VERY well. So then I decided to put my FDE Surefire on the Oliver drab Glock 17. It fits the pistol better both aesthetically and functionally. Now THAT safariland holster didn't work anymore with my new setup, and I ordered another safariland holster for a Glock 17 Gen 3 level 3 rentention. I use this as my duty weapon daily and enjoy it very well. Now I have multiple custom holsters without rentention, multiple safariland QLS-ALS holsters, and an FN 509T with a TLR8 which is a hassle because safariland favors the TLR1 OR TLR7! Looks like I will be grabbing a TLR1 when I also get my Trijicon RMR for my FN. What a glorious nation to live in hahaha

Damn, I think if you contact Trijicon they can verify if it's a real RMR and if anything maybe it's got warranty and they can repair or replace it

They said they very rarely have instances where they have a lemon so I was worried it was fake at first-that would have sucked

@@MartiBrawghghgh there are some limited places where you can fire guns on loan, but to my knowledge these still must follow the UK limited laws - so only really old rifles, shotguns, few older machine guns. It's a really limited, hard to access experience however. Shotgun clay shooting is probably the easiest "real" gun sport available.
@@Ghostchanter Damn, if you ever come to America there's a badass range out in Dallas TX called Texas Gun Experience! They've got a lot of well known weapons like the mp5s and machine guns, etc. Basically any weapon in movies and video games they got and in full auto to lol or also Battlefield Vegas down at Las Vegas, Nevada really well known spot!

What Surefire X300 adapter made it fit the FN 509?
This is the X300 U-A model is made for polymer frames and comes as is, it clicks into the picatinny slots. The other model (U-B model) is the one that has a screw to tighten onto the rails but is recommended for metal frames. The U-A also comes with adapters to use for metal frames as well so that's a bonus!
