Good stuff ! This is one of my favorites. I have 52 variations of this casting.

I find it incredible that actual metal products were manufactured in England and exported internationally 🤯🤯 Great job but the 3 was back to front and upside down.

Great video...but the decal was placed on the label inverse. The sticker has the "3" showing correctly...but the sticker should have had the fat part on the bottom. Still great work

Like number 30, I got 1 I found it digging soil, but I'm scuwing I accidentally broke the back axel off trying to get the wheels out 😢- I've try to super glue it but to no luck. What do you think I can do? Bondo maybe!?

Nice resto job. Turned out really good. If you have access to a copier, try to copy your decal directly on to self adhesive copy paper or ordinary paper then attach double sided adhesive tape to rear followed by cutting out so that you are cutting through the paper and double sided tape in one go. That's the way I have been making custom license plates for a number of years. And your 3 is upside-down hahaha. Peter

Hi Graham enjoy your videos that red beetle with regular wheels is very unusual did you know the white regular wheels beetle was done in herbie livery also very rare I own a pre production matchbox no 35 merryweather fire engine silver with regular wheels silver hubs black tyres this model was only made with superfast wheels in either metalic red or red a mint example of my model sold for 2800 pounds mine obviously came straight from the leney factory how a child got it is a mystery as this version definatly was not bought new from a retail outlet

I wonder what kind of tool the guys in the factory used to place the rubber washers. I wasn't sure how you would do it; i thought about a spot of vaseline to hold the washer on the end of your finger, if you had long enough fingers.😁
