Is there a single religious teaching? If so how can terrorists make use of the religion?

True religious teachings is visible only when the religion organizations can remove all contents added by non prophets who through history have added interpretation or words to the Holy book. My point is, while we all want and prefer and believe in religious teachings, we need to understand the truth that many religions have been hijacked by political entities throughout history so some religious teachings are not the word of God but words of political actors which are a means to an end. Religions have always been made used by politicians to dupe followers to support them. Such politicians incite violence in the name of religion or religious teachings when in fact it's not true teachings. Religion A can have religious fanatics who believe as strongly in their religion as another religious fanatic of Religion B. And then I have to stop here else I may offend all religions. In short, whatever one believes in, that becomes his religion. And no religion can be Proven scientifically to be the absolute truth. This does not means none of them is true. It is what it is.

I think one of the stronger solutions is already there, minimum wage or minimum living wage. - Fixes most dignity issues as less people will require handouts which is measured based on income ceilings (If government already knows that people below a certain ceiling have issues with day to day life then why are businesses allowed to create jobs that don't allow them to survive) - Closes the gaps between blue and white collar - Protects the hawker culture as prices have been suppressed - Fixes the deservingness issues cause wages are now more evenly acknowledge As for the sudden rise of cost of living it is inevitable, it should have risen long ago but has been suppressed by controlling costs of food, transport and labour for the sake of GDP increase. Setting the minimum wage will help to stabilize the gaps between cost of living and wages. Danny who said that there are conditions that don't allow an across the board minimum wage is a mindset that needs to change as it splits social classes and creates a thinking such that some are not as equal as others which is an issue to be solved. All working adults need to be treated fairly, this will reduce the exploitation and social divide we have with our foreign labour.

Really respect Dr Tan. Always learnt much after hearing him speak. Truly a man with high moral values and walk the talk.
