Why would you cut out the game starting up? That's literally a part of the performance.

I’m in the tutorial right now on steam deck and am stuck not being able to navigate inside the backpack as well. Did you ever find a fix for this?

Games like this are the reason I want to get a Steam Deck.

So the game basically runs like the PS4 even the load times are similar going both around between 30-45 fps, it doesn't stop to surprise me how advanced handheld have become this is pretty impressive

Man i should of got the steam deck oled, but I’ve have ally for a while now, and it’s been great, but dealing with windows can suck, I like the steam OS on the deck, looks easy to navigate

darn, I want a Steam Deck so much. I only have a low end laptop, it struggled with SCP while overheating like crazy (even on games like Warframe), and games like Elden Ring can't even be played - some games are 'stranded' on my jet engine PS4 with broken controllers, and so are some 'casual' games like Dead by Daylight on my Switch Lite with faulty sticks haha. the nerve some studios have that we are used to as 'main gaming platform publishers' nowadays, not even wanting to talk about Playstation 5 and how exclusive all of *that* is, not only in terms of pricing but also how frickin small the actual new game library is. I never really owned a Microsoft console though so I can't say much about that - I *do* know though that most of the 'interesting' games are compatible with PC anyway. So if one wants to play for example Halo for nostalgia sake they can just install older titles or even Infinite on their Steam Deck, so why even bother getting an extra console? and in an 'emergency' you can probably also always go the streaming route, something that is very limited (and quite frankly also sometimes bad) on other platforms (looking at you Nintendo and how you sneakily put cloud games in the eshop for full price with questionable results). a Steam Deck seemingly fixes all the gaming problems. your true one platform for everything, that what you always *wished* the switch would do, but what the *Steam Deck* actually delivers. (and lets not even begin to talk about the trackpads and what an *amazing idea* that was, bringing the best of both worlds into one device). then you're able to modify controls via steam-internal settings, even adding gyro aiming to essentially almost every game without much issue - giving you precision that can actually rival mouse and keyboard (and you can also always just plug in a monitor and mouse and keyboard, too) the Steam Deck is just amazing. Valve at it again, always coming out of nowhere with something truly unique - I remember how Gabe talked about how Linux is the future of gaming in 2013 well, he definitely wasn't wrong, looking at what the Steam Deck can deliver even in this format.

Can I download mods on it ? The same way I do on PC

Thanks for this, bought the game for my Steam Deck :) Oh, the game that game closest to being perfect was Empyrion to me. I have nearly 1400 hours in it... And yet it has quite a lot of bugs, some even really annoying too. One game that is perfect as is, but it's just a totally different caliber of game: BloonsTD6.

Just a suggestion: next time don’t tell anything about the code at all. Especially at the beginning. Just drop it randomly whenever you like throughout the video. Just abruptly stop the the gameplay and “Hey, by the way, I appreciate the support, so here is the code for you”. It would be a pleasant surprise for people who just enjoy watching your videos and aren’t here for key hunting. Someone could just turn on subs, put the video in 2x and voila, the key is taken by some moron. I hope it wasn’t, but you know the world we live in. Scammers everywhere.

Im very happy with the performance on the Steam Deck. It chews up battery though. The Deck gets really hot too. But still a great experience.
