The most difficult thing about the piece is how the right hand’s grouping is working against the left hand’s grouping in a complex pattern. A web-like effect is created, the humming sounds with continuous ups and downs around a pivot note gave the name for the piece. There isn’t any other animals than “bees” which suit the piece more.

Composed in 1802, this sonata is one of Beethoven's early works. It is named as "The Hunt" by a third party given that a playful jocularity is maintained throughout the piece and the theme's high resemblance to a horn call.

It’s too bad Say did not publish the first variation that he plays. Because it is a great contrast with the Presto.
You say you are an amateur but you're giving recitals? I am a bit confused about this. Nice playing though. Not an easy piece.
