Well day 12 of Jamuary 2025 has proven to be a fantastic way to just reach out and try some crazy things and just see what comes of it. FAIR WARNING: you may wish to listen to this through speakers and not with headphones - there's a fair amount of distortion and strong textures from pushing the tape machine, and it may prove challenging for some listeners.
So a word about all that - I had these five different drone phrases plus some synth work on the Microfreak, and was slowly building and building and building - and all the while the improv session was recorded onto my tape machine with some distressed 30-year-old tape. The result is this extremely rich, densely textured, and super growly piece from what felt like some very dark unresolved spaces, the places where we don't let a lot of light on in. And I feel this piece speaks to that voice deep within you, within me, that is desperate to let out at full volume, but has been beat down, suppressed, and distressed from trauma, or challenging life events, or other things that brought about great suffering for you. The end realization in this piece, the only way to stop the suffering, stopping the distressed feelings inside, is to just stop fighting it, to be still, to rest, to close your eyes, and just breathe, breathing as if it were the most pleasurable experience on earth - breathing in the life of the universe, and exhaling all of the things we're holding onto, the things causing the distress, the distortions, and the overdriven feelings within.

I loved the new music by Sonaura, AITIA, and SuperGlitch! ... in fact, each piece was inspiring. Blessings, Michael, for inspiring this community of expressive artists!
How is advanced algorithm being used? As a tool for executing your symbolic content? Nice!
I'm not sure what you're asking, but I designed my own prompts including the types of things I wanted in the imagery, fed it into the AI video generator, and then took that generated video and further edited and manipulated it in Premiere Pro. I don't like AI video straight out of the generator because it looks way too AI-generated. Even the results I finished with I was hoping for a little less of that AI appearance. Generally speaking I'm not a big fan of AI-generated multimedia unless you use that as your STARTING point and then do much more manipulation and design by hand. AI-generated video and graphics look too "imperfectly perfect" and requires the human touch to bring it back to a bit more of an acceptable reality.
