This game is phenomenal. I just wish there were in-game instructions, because I had to guess what every button on the keyboard did, and half the time it would activate something I didn't want to activate.

This looks and sounds so much more awesome than MIcro Machines on Nintendo (which I played a lot of). Thanks for showing!

Favorite.. Large world. Prince level. Seven tribes. Focus on building and defending as many cities as possible. Make sure to build pyramids and great wall... Then ahoot for Democracy and build the Statue of Liberty and use it to turn Fundamentalist to stabilize popolution . Then proceed to roll over the opposition. It worked well.

Love watching. But your selection of where to build cities is baffling. You wasted so many resources with where you put your cities 😊

I am kind of disappointed that every time you're under attack, you only have one ship attacking you and not a formation or a group. Maybe it's a limitation of the system?

Shame the combat was so god damn awful...

Did anyone else find the combat glitch where if you turned off your engine and auto pilot in combat and just travel using inertia, then the enemy ships would fly into you? Once I realised that bug I got the biggest ship in that game (Puma?) and loaded it with shields and boosters. After that combat was easy, just let the enemy commit suicide runs against my behemoth. Coupled with the auto-stop docking glitch I could make runs that matched anything bigger than a Defender! Edit - Commodore Amiga

Just seen this, I'm 53 and put in far too many hours into this banger of a game, proper lump in my throat moment here, kinda makes look at elite dangerous in awe really Where's your radar, did you have to buy it?

When I was a kid, we used to play this, but didn’t have the manual or the internet, and had no idea how to warp, to pretty much I’d swap the pulse laser to a beam laser, shoot the settlement then kill all the police until I died, and that would be how I played Elite II

Best series ever! Civ 2 for whatever reason although more stripped down than what we have now in Civ 6 was more addictive imo But then again 4-5 were also very epic in much the same way.. Its tough to choose which version is the absolute best

There was a bug in the ships trading section where you could easily grift your credit levels up so that in no time you would own a very larger space craft. On a different note, it's a shame that the galaxy seems only populated with human beings - no aliens.

I never did play this on ps1, played for God knows how many hours on pc! Out of all the civs this is my personal favorite!

This game stole my entire summer back in 2002 and got me hooked on Civ Games Civ 3 was great 4 very nice 5 omfg & 6 amazing concept so much fun!
