    *Matt McLane's post race interview* Me as a commentator: Matt McLane finished 2nd today, let's go to Marty with Matt McLane, let's hear from him. Marty Snider: Given the outcome of today's race, a great run by Kevin Harvick but a hugely impressive run by Matt McLane, is 2nd place ok? Matt McLane: Yeah it's been a pretty impressive run, I'm really happy but as much as I wanna get excited about our 2nd place run and how great our team did, I gotta congratulate Kevin Harvick and that whole Richard Childress team. Uh, I mean what a victory for them, that was just a great battle. He did what he needed to do to win the race, he drove a great race, he's aggressive, he's smooth and uh, that team gave him a good car and uh. He made the move you know, he took us side by side and got the lead and uh, you know that was the move of the race right there that won it for him. I was a little bit better than him and I thought I could get up beside him, we come off turn 4 and I was up on the top trying to pull off the Dale Earnhardt move and got up there but for some reason. You know that Goodwrench car doesn't know how to lose here on the last lap. Marty Snider: And this team though, they've really caught some fire here, a lot of momentum over the past few weeks. 4 straight top 5 finishes, what could happen with you and this team? Matt McLane: Yeah I'm really proud of this Kodak Grand Prix team, everyone at Morgan-McClure has been doing an awesome job and you know through the disappointments we had earlier in the year, they've really bounce back. I'm really proud of them. I just want to say thanks to everybody with Kodak, Pontiac and Goodyear, man, this team is just flawless right now. Tim and these guys are just doing an awesome job, it's just neat to drive these types of race cars. Marty Snider: We thank you for putting on a great show. Matt McLane: Thank you. Marty Snider: Matt McLane comes home 2nd here at Atlanta. Sez. Me as a commentator: Thanks Marty, well you can hear the disappointment in Matt's voice on losing out on that one. *Matt went 110% effort and it bit him and the team. A wrecked car and no trophy won't sit well for these guys who busted their tail all weekend getting this backup to get it as fast as it was to get that great P2 finish. A team meeting was called for in the hauler after the race where Matt was told wrecking this much wasn't going to work for this team, they can't afford keep building and fixing race cars like they have this season!*

    Me as a commentator: HERE HE COMES, HE'S GONNA DRIVE IT IN ON THE TOP, OH HARVICK'S LEAVING A LOT OF TOP OPEN! KEVIN HARVICK, KEVIN HARVICK COMING TO THE CHECKERED FLAG, HERE COMES MATT MCLANE ON THE TOP! HARVICK'S GONNA GET HIM THROUGH, HERE THEY COME. MCLANE GOT LOOSE, IT'S HARVICK! HARVICK BY HALF A CAR LENGTH! HARVICK BY HALF A CAR LENGTH! WHAT A RACE, WHAT A FINISH! HOW DID MATT MCLANE HANG ONTO THAT CAR THAT LOOSE OFF TURN 4?! OH NO, MATT MCLANE CRASHES PAST THE START FINISH LINE, UNBELIEVABLE. UNBELIEVABLE. TALK ABOUT ONE HOT DAY! Tim Brewer: COME ON BUDDY, COME ON. CHECKERED FLAG RIGHT HERE! Hold the brake, hold the brake, you ok? Talk to me. Matt McLane: Yeah I'm fine, damn it! I really thought I had that but I just wanted to give him a shot to get him loose and wrecked myself. I destroyed this car, 100% on me. I'm so mad at myself, do we get 2nd? Tim Brewer: Yeah bud, we got 2nd out of it. Matt McLane: Sorry about that guys, not the way we wanted to end it. Kevin Harvick: Tell me we got him. Kevin Harvick's crew chief: Kevin you got him! You got him buddy! Great job, you are the man. Kevin Harvick: Hahaha, woooo! Yeah baby.

    *Post race interviews* Bill Weber: With a very soggy Tim Brewer whom got the gatorade shower was still able to congratulate his driver, Tim congratulations, big victory for you and your crew here at Martinsville. Tim Brewer: Haha, yeah it was! Aha, the whole Kodak team, they did a good job they build this car every week, we come in, that's all we gonna do. We come in and run here and they did a great job preparing this car, Matt did a great job. We run this place. Bill Weber: Were you worried about Kenseth? Tim Brewer: We weren't worried at all, I watched Kenseth as long as 50 laps I think but really got to thank Tim Morgan and Larry McClure, this team has been incredible. The strength they have had shown through the tough times and to be in victory lane at Martinsville, I love Martinsville, always have. It's a special place, really nice to be here. Bill Weber: Well congratulations, head onto victory lane Tim Brewer: Thank you. Bill Weber: Win number 10 for Matt McLane in his career, nice little burnout there. *Dale Earnhardt Jr interview* Matt Yocum: Looking at the replay, that kinda looked like he came out of nowhere, what happened with Matt? Dale Earnhardt Jr: I don't know, you'd have to ask him, I got run into the back of and spun out on the back straightaway entering turn 3 for absolutely no reason, you know it was a pretty stupid move on his part and obviously I'm sure these guys that he's going to be working with in the 1 car next year don't really appreciate this because we have a championship we can win this year and he doesn't so you know. I don't know what he was thinking really what the problem was but uh, it's just very, very unfortunate for all these Budweiser boys and the guys that do such a great job. We were just cruising there, riding around, minding my own business entering a corner and just got run over. *Victory lane* Me as a commentator: Matt McLane has did it again and man was he impressive today, there was never a doubt he was going to win the race, his car was fast. He was back in traffic for a couple of times today but each time he was able to move up through and gain the lead again. Jerry Punch: Well, he's getting the helmet pulled off, the crew is out of breath by jumping up and down themselves. Matt McLane gets the Kodak hat on, the sunglasses, we'll let him climb out of the car, he's been in there for a long afternoon. What a performance by Matt McLane, it's the first season of double digit win for him, Here he comes out of his race car! Well Matt McLane, to sum up your performance today. You were one of the dominant cars that were the class of the field. Matt McLane: I'm tired Jerry, I sat up in that seat all day long, I knew it was really important to stay up front all day long. All the guys at the shop brought me another fast race car. Jerry Punch: How about traffic, you were in traffic a couple times, you moved right back through to get back to the front but what happened with you and the 8? Matt McLane: Well, that's all my fault, I-I drove in way too deep. I had time to get put of it but I just couldn't get it done but uh, that was all my fault but you know, that's the last guy I want to run into, the last team I want to put out, those guys are trying to win a championship and that didn’t help him. Jerry Punch: 4 to go Matt, how many more of those can you win? You have a reputation for finishing strong. Matt McLane: We've really come on strong, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and when we've let people down, we've kept our heads up strong and straight. Our race cars are awesome, our race team is awesome. *Matt McLane apologised to Dale Jr after the race*

    *Matt McLane spins Dale Earnhardt Jr out on lap 213* Me as a commentator: McLane hasn't been able to get by the 8, Dale had a flat and had to pit under the green earlier in the race. CONTACT!! McLane slams the back of the 8, spinning him around! Dale Earnhardt Jr, one of the championship contenders just got spun out by Matt McLane. McLane really got into the back of him. Matt McLane's crew chief: Alright buddy, try and get a run on this 8 so we can get up to the 17. Well uh, you didn't really mean that, caution's out. I don't think the 8 boys are gonna be too happy with us next year bud. Matt McLane: Yeah that's my bad, little too deep on entry. Tell 'em I'm sorry please. Dale Earnhardt Jr: I just got dumped by the 4. Dale Earnhardt Jr's crew chief: He was so far back, sent it and spun us out. Unbelievable... *Matt McLane wins at Martinsville* Me as a commentator: Good pit work, good handling car, track position when they needed it is gonna be the recipe for victory for this 4 team, a win at Martinsville for McLane as he takes the checkered flag and wins the Subway 500, collecting his 10th career victory. Matt McLane's crew chief: Come on buddy, come on, you got 'em. You got 'em, you got 'em, we win, we win. Hell of a job bud. Matt McLane: Oh man, that was a close one, that was awesome, that was pretty, pretty crazy. Good day guys. Man, what a string of races, we're on top of this, we're the best team here week in, week out guys. Proud to be on this team.

    00:01 Mike Wallace's contract in the #4 will be a 2 year deal (2004-05) since he drove that car in both those seasons in real life. 3:52 Your crash looked so similar to Dale Earnhardt Sr's 1996 crash at Talladega and it involves both a Kodak car (Pontiac not a chevy) and a RCR car (#30 not the #3) but the roles are reversed, you are Sterling Marlin on the inside about to have a big crash and Jeff Green is Dale Earnhardt with nowhere to go. For a crash like that, it could take you out for a couple weeks so maybe Mike Skinner could fill in for you since he drove the Kodak #4 in real life in 2002 and f9r the first bit of 2003.

  • @sezniteowl5398

    Me as a commentator: McLane on the inside, Jeff Green on the outside, Mike Harmon going with McLane on the inside, that's gonna- OH WE GOT TROUBLE, TERRIBLE CRASH, MCLANE ALL TORN UP. MCLANE'S NUMBER 4 ALMOST HEAD ON INTO THE WALL AT 190 MP/H. HE ALMOST GOT UPSIDE DOWN, THAT CAR WENT VERY HIGH OFF THE GROUND! They're gonna cut him out from the car, Matt McLane is on his feet, Matt McLane attempting to walk back to the ambulance. Never, ever doubt that determination about Matt McLane as he gives the thumbs up as he walks away from one of the worst crashes in his winston cup career. Matt McLane: Something feels kinda funny, it almost feels like something's moving around inside the car, I'm having to chase to it. Matt McLane's crew chief: 10-4, bring it to us if you need... talk when you can, talk when you can. Can you hear me? An anybody hear him guys? I got nothing, talk to me if you can bud, there's coming to ya, you're getting help. *After that massive crash which made Matt McLane roof first into the wall, the team still couldn't get a response out of Matt, once help arrived. McLane was cut from the car and taken by ambulance to the hospital. He was responsive to the safety crew on scene but in quite a bit of pain. The crew will start the hunt for a relief driver next week if needed for McLane if he can't get back in the car.*

    What ifs What if Dale Earnhardt is still alive in this career mode but focuses on managing DEI which means Dale Earnhardt Jr never leaves DEI to join Hendrick Motorsports Chance 2 Motorsports still shuts down after 2005 and JR Motorsports still goes busch series racing at the end of 2005 at Homestead with the #88 Chevy drjven by Mark McFarland whom will take that ride full time in 2006. What if Ricky Hendrick kept racing and never died After spending 2003 focusing on Hendrick Motorsports out of the drivers seat, Ricky Hendrick gets back into the #5 Chevrolet full time for Hendrick Motorsports in the busch series sponsored by GMAC, Hendrickcars and Lowe's before going full time in the cup series in the #5 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports while still being a co owner for Hendrick Motorsports until his 2nd and final retirement from racing after 2020. What does this mean for Kyle Busch? He still races for Hendrick Motorsports in the busch series but in the #57 Chevrolet from 2004-2005 while making some part cup starts for the team in the #84 Chevrolet, he goes full time cup racing for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2006. What about the other drivers that raced for Hendrick Motorsports busch series team in 2004 and 2005? The Lowe's 48 in the busch series for Hendrick Motorsports will be shared by Blake Feese, Boston Reid, Andrián Fernández, Kyle Krisiloff, Brian Vickers and Jimmie Johnson.

    About my driver list idea for your team on my comment for your Richmond video, I wanted to add onto it The other drivers added to that list Mike McLaughlin Wally Dallenbach Jr. (2 races, Watkins Glen and Fontana) Hank Parker Jr. Kevin Grubb Wayne Grubb David Bonnett Barry Bodine Shane Hmiel Ryan Moore (3 races for Chance 2 Motorsports in the #81 as well) Matt McLane Motorsports full part time busch series line up for 2005 in the #83 Chevrolet. Matt McLane Bobby Earnhardt Shane Huffman L.W. Miller Jamie Skinner Dustin Skinner Ronnie Hornaday Burney Lamar (1 race at Nashville) Mike McLaughlin Wally Dallenbach Jr. (2 races, Watkins Glen and Fontana) Hank Parker Jr. Kevin Grubb Wayne Grubb David Bonnett Barry Bodine Shane Hmiel Ryan Moore (3 races for Chance 2 Motorsports in the #81 as well) I think 17 drivers on that list is enough and with that amount, most of them can do run 1 race each in the #83 Chevrolet, it will be a good mix of young drivers and experienced drivers. What do you think of that list of drivers and sponsors?

  • @sezniteowl5398
    @sezniteowl5398 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

    With you going for going to DEI next season, you should run a few part time busch series starts and then start your own busch series team in 2005 that starts out as a part time operation, the car will be shared between you and a few other drivers. Part time busch series starts in 2004 in the #11 Menards Chevrolet for DEI Michigan and Lowe's (fall races) Fall race at Daytona and Richmond (Chance 2 Motorsports #8) Your team's 2005 Busch series driver line up Matt McLane Bobby Earnhardt Shane Huffman L.W. I haven’t done many lately but I’d say probably 70-75% are good solid races but there are always some races that tend to be caution filled or just bad races

      @@EarnhardtOutFront883 Man I would love to get back into racing. I have been part of the 100% club for several years but just lost interest.

    How do you get a different spotter like that? And those graphics are much different. Never noticed the drivers head in the mirror.

      I used a website called dwarehouse.com they have a Jimmie Johnson and a tj majors spotter pack as well! And I use as good of graphics as I can to make a better viewing experience for everyone, they’ve done a great job the past year or so to upgrade the graphics to seem more realistic

    Hey I was in this race! What size monitor are you using? I want to get a bigger monitor so I can widen my field of view a little more. And also what spotter pack are you using? I currently use Dale Jr. pack but I struggle to hear the spotter sometimes

      Hey! Yeah I watched your heat you looked pretty good out there! I use a 32” flat screen tv currently, and I’m using the Jimmie Johnson cuss pack version 6.1 or something like that, I believe it can be downloaded on dwarehouse.com
