If u r general, OBC, EWS Then 12 lakhs rs if ur family income is greater than 5 lakhs rs per year If income is 1 lakh to 5 lakhs per year then fees is 6-7 lakhs If income is less than 1 lakh per year then 3-4 lakhs If u r SC/ST (🤡🤡) or PWD Then ur fees is zero, u have to pay 3-4 lakhs for mess and hostel All these fees is for all 4 yrs including all the fees, mess and hostel fees.

number of students in IITH is barely 1k and the library sitting is more than 3k
this is a good thing.. all western nations universities are like this... we should encourage these type of things in India so that we can compete with the west.

Bhaiya is there any type of discrimination against North Indians in iith? I have heard a senior telling that North Indians are not given preferences in president elections and similar type of leadership roles because of south dominated population and seniors. My advanced prep is going good and I really am hoping to join.

@ Nah most don’t. There r many South Indians who are welcomed in North Indian colleges and seem to have fun there. But it’s quite opposite when a North Indian enters a south dominated institution, there is often groupism and little discrimination.
There is no south or north indian , we all are same.
