    You know what Joseph could have done instead of telling his brothers to bring Benjamin he could have told them to bring their father to him and he reveals himself to his father that he's alive and his father says to his brothers you told me Joseph was eaten by wolves he has been here this whole time and you lied to me then an explanation would be overwee and Joseph would probably have had his reveng But that is not what happened so oh well I wonder if that thought ever crossed Joseph's mind anyway.

    Joseph was clearly very conflictos throughout this scene between the pleasure he was deriving from humiliating his brothers, his own fondness of Benjamin and the pain he himself felt from the news of his parents

    This eunuch has a beard. Many eunuchs if not most were beardless. Many eunuchs were also gay in the old world. So I think an androgynous person would have suited this better. This person just comes off as a standard male not a eunuch. This is one of my favorite biblical stories as it means ANYONE even the outcasts of society which eunuchs were are deserving of Gods love. Really think this is great though overall.

      Actually, the Ethiopian Eunuch was from modern-day Sudan not the present day country of Ethiopia because he was working for Kandake which was a title for queen in Meroitic. And there are depictions of Kushites with scarification so it is accurate. The reason why Sudan was called Ethiopia was because it was a word that the Greeks used to refer to all of Africa south of the Sahara. Ethiopia is a Greek word which literally means "Burnt Face" and it was used to refer to all people's of dark-skinned complexion.

    • @madgiemadgie9128
      @madgiemadgie9128 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AskiatheGreat64 This is fascinating, thank you. I easily accepted the eunuch as Ethiopian because they have such a tangible Christian past that predates much of Europe ( their older Bible, the incredible Churches hewn from stone at the Lalibela, and the tradition that the apostle St. Matthew went there etc etc). I wonder why Sudan doesn't have the same Christian past, I am assuming the Eunuch would have returned to evangelize.

    • @AskiatheGreat64
      @AskiatheGreat64 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@madgiemadgie9128Actually, Sudan was Christian for over a millennium and it had three Christian Kingdoms such as Makuria, Alodia and Nobatia. It didn't became majority Muslim until much recently. There are Cathedrals in Sudan that depicts Biblical figures that dates as early as the 6th century AD.

      @@AskiatheGreat64 I love this kind of information!! Thank you so much. I will start my own research, if you have any advise on the best places to start, share if you can. I am also fascinated by the Early Church Fathers, the African ones,particularly St Athanasius. A Catholic priest on EWTN ( Fr. Pacwa) stated that he wasn’t light skinned and easily assumed to be European ( the way we see e.g North African St.Augustine portrayed as European)because he was referred to by his enemies ( he had many due to his astonishing intellect and defense of the Faith ) as “ the black dwarf”! I can’t find much on him. If you have any information on him, please direct me. Thank you so much.

    "As he looked about and saw his brother Benjamin, his own mother’s son, he asked, “Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?” And he said, “God be gracious to you, my son.” Deeply moved at the sight of his brother, Joseph hurried out and looked for a place to weep. He went into his private room and wept there. After he had washed his face, he came out and, controlling himself, said, “Serve the food.” They served him by himself, the brothers by themselves, and the Egyptians who ate with him by themselves, because Egyptians could not eat with Hebrews, for that is detestable to Egyptians. The men had been seated before him in the order of their ages, from the firstborn to the youngest; and they looked at each other in astonishment. When portions were served to them from Joseph’s table, Benjamin’s portion was five times as much as anyone else’s. So they feasted and drank freely with him." Genesis 43:29-34

    I'm confused, why did he say, he lost his younger son,? When Beni was the youngest himself. Of Rachel and jocob, they only had two son, though this was very entertaining, as most of the animation are, however accurately they mist how important it is to come to the truth, when representing the most high. Almighty God, who choose to care for these tribes!!! And to save a remnant of and to never again to give their crown to strangers... According to the book of Isaiah.... Keep in mind that we are talking about a all knowing God, who has Given them the spirit of truth... He also said his children will not lie...... As he has given Jerusalem new heavens and new earth... As he has already given Gad, Benjamin Ma-nas-seh, their inheritance, These are the same Tribes the Angels of heaven fought for them! ! You must never take God's glory away from the woke children isreal... even in animation....Our their integrity and respect... To those who has returned to their God! Very interesting what they say, when their own view has many holes in it and most Christian’s don’t hold to their view. Dinosaurs being on the ark is an assumption that their view forces when there is really good evidence dinosaurs wasn’t around during Noah, lol It would be interesting to know just how many people won’t be a Christian because they think they have to believe the earth is 6k years old and dinosaurs were on the Ark, so sad!

    • @TroyViewChurch
      @TroyViewChurch 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Do you believe God 'evolved everything'? I know Christians who do. Pretty wild when you read God's very clear creation account in Genesis.

    • @AB-mg5sx
      @AB-mg5sx 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TroyViewChurch no I don’t believe that everything evolved, but those Christian’s believe God created everything and then let everything evolve. Try reading Genesis 1:24, it says God said, Let the earth bring forth….. So I can imagine where they get their view. But they don’t go around telling people they aren’t Christian’s if you don’t believe what they say, right? Whether you think dinosaurs were on the ark or not doesn’t make or break that your a Christian, right? That’s the way Ken Ham preach, if you don’t agree with their views then you’re not a Bible believer! So damaging since their view could be just as wrong as the other view, lol
