Hello, nice video. I have masters from BPP University but I haven't got a job yet perhaps because of lack of work experience. I have 9 exemptions, just the strategic level left. (I had a family breakdown than disrupted my career for 4 years and I am planning to brace up again soon) I would like a team to study with if you don't mind. Thanks for the knowledge

Hi Conrad. You have the tax exam information in correct. The exam is 3 hours long and you cannot sit it any time you want. It is like the other exams which can only be sat in the 4 given exam windows throughout the year. I think you got this confused with the Law module which is in the Applied Skills section but is a CBE and is 2 hours long. Hope this clears thing up.

I’m from the uk and salaries are a lot higher. I would recommend you all to look into potentially moving to the uk to be an accountant. Let’s put it this way, if you work for the minimum legal wage in the uk you get £23,800. That is what you could get as an unexperienced bartender! The starting salaries for graduate programs (which is where they pay for you to do your ACCA) is around £27,000. This further increases to around £35,000 once you are qualified with ACCA in a junior role. Just thought this information could prove useful.

Hi Conrad! I just came across your TH-cam channel and im loving your videos on ACCA. I myself am looking into doing ACCA - I am in SA and currently in grade 11. I am lucky to get a great opportunity of someone that is willing to employ me in my hometown at their bookkeeping company right after I matriculate, while I then study part time, meaning i will start to earn a salary and could still have minimal expenses cause i would live with my parents. Could you please advise on the costs of ACCA, do you pay ACCA per module and just all the costs involved. Then also maybe how exams work, is it online? And then the working component of it, do you need to work at a specific company and what jobs is eligible to count towards the working component. Thank you so so so very much! Did you ever consider other professional bodies such as CIMA or ACA

Does your supervisor need to be ACCA authorized? Or could he be a local authorized accountant without ACCA qualification? Take in consideration that many european countries dont have an Acca syllabus, but local accounting authorizations.
