Supernatural's the Four Horseman
This is a video I made for a lesson I taught on Byron's 'Darkness'. His apocalyptic poem mentions the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and I use this video to tie in popular culture.

Castiel mentions that Famine will march across the land if he consumes enough souls. He's probably stronger than his current appearance.
I had an idea for a stage play that was anthology with four stories and the framing device is that four men get together to play cards and they are each telling the stories, while I never call them the horsemen I lay down plenty of context clues that they are the horsemen, especially with their names; Mr. Red (War), Mr. Black (Famine), Mr. Green (Pestilence), and Mr. White (Death)
A little detail I like is Pestilence saying that bacteria “divide and conquer”. I have to imagine this is a reference to how the third horsemen used to be Conquest, until religious leaders of the time decided it and War were to similar, and replaced it with Pestilence to jazz up the narrative
Death was such a great character.

God was acting up as some dosser and let's not forget after reveal he is kind of a manchild. Fuka gotta bother them Winchester's for the sake of bothering them. I dislike his inclusion into the series. Nothing to do with character but the issue is in how insignificant and meaningless everybody else had just become. In beginning a 5th rate demon would've been a proper heavyweight on the Winchester's path. With god in picture even the fallen angel could be considered a little deepsheet that ain't worth sheet. Basically everybody else is outa window just cause of Chuck's character. It made the playing field so meaningless and uneven. I get the need to bring out new Aces every now and then cause Lucifer can't be the only top dog for 15 seasons but still. Chuck is too much. His sister obviously took much too. Nvm the nefilim. Perhaps he can stay but not if god and sista still on.
Of all the creatures in the land, death is the one that makes Winchesters bow and shiver
So they are the Horsemen or are they just fear Cause Death is a embodiment Which if Denji devours it It will lead to a word of no death
How is conquest related to pestilence?
I'm not digging Famine's portrayal. He should've been upright and walking like the rest. Hell, while we're at it, take the stupid need for oxygen out too and no posse.

Death by far was the best, the original Death.
The four horsemen never made sense. 3 of them only exist to result in the 4th one, who's the actually important one.
In today's world there's another horseman and it's called Misinformation.
The biggest mistake supernatural made was changing death from the original actor to the woman. The original death was awesome. And Pestilence, Matt Frewer, great actor. Those two alone would have made a great episode

I don't think the 4 Horseman are bad guys, or as bad as they were portrayed. They are just doing the jobs that were given to them and were condemned and killed for it. Sure some of them took to their job with more enthusiasm, but at the end it was their job.

Is it weird i would have prefer the characters talk about the bible verses that describe the horsemen
Red horse: War (people waging wars against each other) Black Steed; Famine (his hunger will see out and poison the air)
While Death is the best of the four without doubt, famine was the one that scared me the most. War could trick you to your death, pestilence could make you terminally sick, and Death will just kill you with minimal effort, but famine makes you kill yourself slowly and gruesomely

Compared to the other 3, war came across kinda lame/cheesy. The Whore of Babylon basically did the same shit he did only better. I feel like they could have made him more memorable.
I love that it was the jackass' attitude that killed him, not bumping into Death. Had he been nice and apologized, he'd kept going about his day
Oh no, Death definitely killed him, but the man's attitude gave Death the incentive to do it. Love it when TH-camrs would blame a victim than a clear killer as long as they think the victim deserved it. Shows how skewed the morality of this site's membership is.

Death and Famine were my favorites. Like I was scared of Famine the first time but I'm like oh yeah he's crazy for souls. Then I was like OMG DEATH IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus...Famine and Death's entrances were the BEST!!!
Pestilence and Death were my favorites. Pestilence's entrance was just sick and disgusting which is fitting for him. Death's intro hand's down is the most intimidating and ominous.
I wish we'd seen more of Famine. I like his affect.

Because Famine give you the desire without control. Sex without control leads to sikness such as syphilis and so on. Money can leads you to gambling and other collateral problems until arrive to suicide or to be killed. We can say that Famine is the most... Wide kind of power, subtle and indirect.
The hunger, in the episode two people ate each other because they hungered for love, I'm assuming the lady would eat the cash. But your right how did she die.?
With sex you can die from exhaustion if you go at it long enough. Or go too far leaving a hickie on their neck Not sure about stealing cash, unless they steal from someone with a gun
