The Dinosaurs Play Red House by Hendrix
Once again The Dinosaurs prove that they Are Not Extinct… yet. Here they are on their summer tour stop-off at The Streamliner Lounge in Orange, California, Saturday, July 13, 2024. Snippets from an after show meet-and-greet went like this:
Howard - “Well thanks for the very nice compliment. I don’t think anyone can really play just like Hendrix but you can play his brilliant song with the same feeling.”
George - “Yes, holding down the bottom is a real challenge in a trio but I’m always up for it. My morning routine gives me time to think about it.”
Hans - “Are you going to finish your fries?”

Howard Siden Plays Over the Rainbow (Short Paganini 5th Caprice Intro)

Solo performance of Over the Rainbow played jazz chord style. This song was written in 1939 by composer Harold Arlen and lyricist Yip Harburg. I played the song on my "Partscaster" guitar with Andy Timmons signature DiMarzio pickups. The color is Ferrari yellow with all gold hardware.

One of my all time favorite songs by Carlos Santana. This song was released on March 26, 1976. The full title of the song is "Europa (Earth's Cry Heaven's Smile)" and was on the Amigos album.

Howard thats truly one of the best covers of Devadips Carlos Santana's EUROPA well played with lots of feelings.😉👍Remembering back in 1976 i saw Carlos playing it on TV useing the YAMAHA SG 2000 with Humbucker pickups thru a Mesa Boogie to get that fat sound. Maybe you could do a version playing a Gibson Les Paul. Keep on rocking...👍
