DC DC Charger And UHF Radio Install Into A Isuzu 2022 MUX
มุมมอง 1.4K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
After reasearhing how to install a UHF radio and second battery into a Isuzu 2022 MUX, I couldn't find any information on how to get the DC and UHF radio coaxial cables through the firewall, I searched forums and TH-cam, there are many that show fitting to a DMax but not an MUX specifically so I decided to do a brief video on my installation, hopefully it will be a good guide and give you some ...

Windy Day Murray Cod Fishing At Bonnie Doon
The station 7 high house should be the easiest target but I often miss it. Quite frustrating!
Yeah, skeet is very frustrating, we know we can hit every target, but one gets away. The challenge of shooting 100 straight is what makes it exciting
@@naviyerac 100 straight? Man, I’d be elated to shoot just one perfect round. I got a shotkam last week and have identified some problem ares that I hope will improve my score.
...try having your hold further away from the towers, you'll feel less rushed and control your lead / gun acceleration better...
Good tip, I'll give it a try, thanks
Those last two missed shots were close
Where did u get the fuse connection from?
Thanks for the info...ignition connection and firewall. Bought a 2023 base model white mux last christmas. Also seriously thought about an Itech setup like ours but have decided to go down the Itech portable Gofurther box with 120aH bluetooth battery path. Hope it is all working for you. Plan to have my done in the next 2 months.
Thanks for your comments, your planned setup looks useful, my setup is working well with the fridge, I also have iTechworld 200W solar blanket, the DC-DC charger, hub and battery all worked flawlessly, I never turned the fridge off over a 4 week trip. the battery never went below 83% charge.
I find the finishing is the best and thanks for sharing.
Thanks, glad you like it!
How did you get it through the firewall. Did you get someone else to do it? Having looked it is so difficult to access
I put the cable through the firewall myself, as in the video you can use a straightened coat hanger and push it through the grommet from inside the car and out into the engine bay, then tape your cables to the wire in the engine bay and pull through into the car, if the cables are too wide you may need to cut the grommet slightly as I did, when pushing the wire through, be careful of the wires in the loom, I sealed the grommet with sikaflex, hope this helps.
I could not see how to access the inside grommet. Seemed to confined?
Yes it is a bit tight in there, first remove the kick panel on the left where passengers feet are, pull out the gloves box, pull back the carpet, then you will need to pull back the carpet backing around the cable loom, it is tight but accessible, just need to be persistent, also if you take photos or video you can then look at them to get a better idea
I’m about to do a similar battery install for my mux with an invert. Very helpful because as you said no video are around for doing this on an mux!
I am pleased the video is of some help, cheers!
🎉great video!
Glad you liked it!!
Cool 👍🏻
The best video I've saw so far. Great camera angle and great explanation of each step.
Mate... Love it. have seen so many of these assist tool demos but none really show how to do it well.. Champion thank you..
Glad it helped, cheers.
Knots too complicated. Use a swivel.
You can't wind a swivel through your guides. Hopefully you're just joking.
I love Australia
I remember this
Thank you for sharing this video with us. It's very professional. I enjoy watching all your videos. I hope to see more.
Thank you so much!
Om dalam nyah gak apa apa cuma ril dus an
You don’t lock the fg by doing an half hitch with the fc, it’s pointless (as the leader won’t slip at that point) , doesn’t lock the knot , and also creates a useless thicker part in the knot that isn’t ideal when the knot passes through the guides. To lock the knot you have to do an half hitch with the tag end of the braid going around the leader and the main line
It's so beautiful and I love the scenery. Thank you for sharing. I hope to see more videos. 😊
Thank you so much!
It's very beautiful. I love to watch more videos. Thank you for sharing
Thanks so much 😊
So a very slim FG Knot with lots of bulk added to the knot. Kind of defeats the purpose of an easy through the rod guides knot.
works for me, no foul ups in the rod guides
@@ibcoutdoors have you played around with melting the tag end of the leader instead of tying a knot in it. i've been doing this exact same method except that been working great for me.
@arcticicemonkey, I looked at melting the tag end of the leader but it doesn't leave a smooth end, this is why I use the Rizzuto finish against the tag end of the leader, this prevents the FG knot from slipping off and creates a smooth finish, I don't use a knot but a half hitch of the leader tag end when tying the FG knot. One thing I have noticed when researching the FG knot, there are so many ways to tie it.
What was shown is pretty standard. I tie mine in exactly the same way as the video, except I don't melt the braid tag end. I was casting this morning with ultralight gear (i.e. tiny rod guides) and smooth as butter.
At least partially defeating the purpose of the knot.!! And with a step that's not even nessercary.
Best video I've seen using the assist tool...thanks m8!!
Thank you! cheers!
Perfect! Thanks for sharing
Cheers
Thank you for the clear instructions on the finish in particular
Thanks, happy fishing, cheers!
Amazing work
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice video, i wish that knot assist tool was a little larger.
Thanks, yes the tool is a little small but fits in the hand ok, with the amount of times I need to tie an FG knot it works out well and quick and easy to use if needed when out fishing.
You really don't need that tool. Have you seen this video? th-cam.com/video/H5PFJefx3J0/w-d-xo.html It's the method I use.
Thanks for the link to the video, it is a good method too, when learning how to tie the FG knot I watched many videos on different methods and ways to tie it, unfortunately I don't have enough dexterity in my fingers, the Knot assist tool works well for me especially when I need to tie an FG knot quickly in the boat, thanks again for your comment.
I used to live out there it is insane to see the flood.
It sure is a nice place, thanks for watching
Excellent presentation.. Everything was comprehendible. You are a great teacher and fisherman!!
Thanks Seymour, I am happy you are able to get something out of the video and hope you catch plenty of fish!
You are only supposed to load 1 shell at a time, if you miss, you do not get a second chance. This is Not trap, just clay practice.
If you are shooting single barrel competition you only load one shell, if you are shooting double barrel competition you load 2 shells, there are different competition formats around the world, here in Australia double barrel competition is standard, if I am not wrong ISSF trap also shoots double barrel during normal rounds and for the finals shoot-offs shoots single barrel. www.melbournegunclub.com/issf/
There is a game called DTL that is what this is!!!!
Ah, too bad that wasn’t mentioned in the video title.
Lol, there's always a hater!!!
were any buildings affected?
No buildings affected, the only areas affected were the normal Apex park and Painters Island caravan park, there is a Levey bank around the low lying part of Wangaratta, there was concern it may be breached, luckily it held up and the rain eased enough that the river didn't get any higher.

Get that up ya mate
Dude, what about the other bridges what do they look like?
This is the main bridge over the Ovens river just downstream from the junction with the King river, I didn't go to other bridges or out of town to film them, the flooding you see is normal for Wangaratta but a little higher than usual.
I know I’ve just moved from there it’s been higher I’d love to see where the water is at with the other bridges n the slide (steep hill)
so amazing 😘
Thanks for watching the video, yeah the fog is scary, there is no way knowing where to go, you really need a navigation app of some kind
Nice job!
Thank you! I hope you get some benefit from the video, Cheers!
I enjoy watching your video. It's a beautiful place to camp and fish. Thank you for sharing. I hope to see more videos 😃👍
Thanks Jeanne, yes it is a very good place to camp and fish, nice area in the bush and right beside the Murray river, a very calm setting
Very nice video . I want to see more
Thanks Jeanne, I am glad you like them, more like this to come
