This is so amazing. The brown tones with the blues and turquoise is turning out so great for the background and then the warmer objects stand out amazingly 😍

Hanna Karlzon has a similar page in her Seasons book. I can’t wait to try this technique. I already have most of the supplies you mentioned, but is there a specific reason you chose an acrylic base over certain areas rather than just using watercolor?

@1:31 … about making the objects pop & seem closer to the viewer… this is exactly the effect I long to achieve & I mess my work up all the time! Might you do a video on how to best do this ((which colors go together, how to make things glow, wild colors, etc.))? Your work is so gorgeous. I love the way you make everything look so unique to you - it’s enchanting. Truly.

I've put a clear watercolor ground on the pages,sometimes two coats ,this really helps 🎉
