Mine has some damage & I want to replace it, but I’m terrified of breaking the whole lid. Has anyone else done this successfully? Does it really pop off that easily?!

My split is pretty wide and I'm having trouble pulling it shut without pulling out the stitches and breaking the plastic. That happened once already. :/ Any ideas? We have a 2014 Explorer.

I’m looking at purchasing a used Frontier, the truck is almost perfect… minus the fact that the screen is extremely scratched. I’m hesitant to try this myself and is kind of deterring me from buying a Frontier. As an amateur here, how difficult (or how easily) can this process be screwed up?

Can you make a close up video on how your getting those needles started and threaded i cant seem to crack it, how you use same thread with both needles

i would MASK THE SCRATCH with a wet towel and only heat the scratch through a cutout in the towel. someone would have to spread and hold the towel there, and imediately after melting the plastic, press with other wet towel to create some texture while jamming the plastic in.
