Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) Training
The Fiji NDMO, with the support of partners from our Australian #Vuvale and the World Food Programme (WFP) Pacific Office recently trained emergency first responders from the Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management, the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, the National Fire Authority, and other key agencies serving from all four divisions.
The training was focused on enhancing the abilities of these officers to communicate effectively during times of disasters using the High Frequency (HF) Radio systems.

Faieksia Rotuma, i hope they haven't jinxed you guys with the upcoming cyclone seasons🤞🏽. Anyway any disaster preparedness training is always helpful in combination with traditional methods, especially with Rotuma being so remote.
