Very rare setting! It looks like that disabled was put in place of two previous toilets. You can see markings where pans and partitions would have once been. Interesting to see that the Celmac cistern was made in Ireland yet this was in Taunton? Nice verity of cisterns around and nice flushes. Nice Terrazzo floor and partitions as well. Doors also look original. If these where ladies I wonder why they did not have sanitary bins?

When i bought my house i was surprised to see that the outside toilet was still there, although it hadn't been used for many years and needs a LOT of work before it can be used! New roof, new high level cistern, plumbing issues sorting, drains clearing, etc. But it's still fitted with the original toilet made by Twyfords, in 'old ivory' with a white rim and bowl, apparently they started doing that colour scheme in 1934 which sounds about right as the house is early 30's... I thought it was rather cool that it had survived for so long (like many other features of the house had), and after a good cleaning (and a new seat) it should almost be as good as new!
