Guy from home Depot gave me the wrong part number and I got a cable that was to short for my mower. Long story short I just used 2 zip ties to reattach the cable to the handle bar.
Now that's thinking outside the box lolol

I have the same mower, but with the Koehler motor. It was thrown in the trash, I cleaned the carb put in fresh gas, pulled the rope twice started right up. I don’t use the recycler part.

It’s easier to pull it off by the heat sensor by the muffler, but you then have to take off the 3 bolts holding recoil on . Good job cleaning it .

Yes this is true!! I wonder if they can make them any cheaper lolol and yes easy to clean I must say don't make the mistake alot of ppl do and get a cheap knock off from online They don't work and will cause your mower to run rough or surge 99% of the time For some reason it is only really with the plastic Carburetors the metal ones seem to work just fine in my experience
I find that removing the recoil makes for easy work when trying to remove and re-attach the linkages. Great job on the clean out.

well done, however I don;t take that plastic part off the carb unless it causes a problem because most of the time I end up breaking it while putting it back together.
