    Can TMJ cause Tonsilitis ?

      I am not sure if it can be the cause, but if the inflammation is major you could feel in your tonsils and it would be worth a doctor appointment for that. If that is the case those techniques would not be recommended for acute pain.

    my jaw has been locked for 6 months now and nothing is working for me

      Mine has been locked since April and over time my range of motion has been better but the pain is on and off it’s so annoying. But if you haven’t already try to find a physical therapist that it trained in helping tmd or even just a physical therapist that specializes in jaws lol. ALSO please talk to your doctor about getting a mri on your jaw just to see what is going on up in there

      This exercises work best for chronic pain and tension. If your pain is acute it would be better to have a good physiotherapist to do an assessment. If the pain is below 5(in a scale 1 to 10) you can try massaging all around your ear and pulling your ear and holding for a couple of seconds in different directions.

      Hello, some of these exercises will help, but the best would be an assessment from a physiotherapist to see what muscles are involved and where are the places to adjust your TMJ.

    I followed behind my ear and theres a point between my jaw and ear that stopped the tinnitus completely.... as soon as i removed my finger it comes back.... what does that mean? Who can i see to stop it

      There is probably a lot of tension in your first vertebrate and jaw, a good physiotherapist or osteopath would be able to help you. Where are you located?

    Omg. TMJ pain hit me like a freight train all of a sudden and my jaw pretty much locked up on one side. I tried everything I could think of. Repeated this 2-3 times and I can move my jaw again and there's only a slight ache??
