Risk is in everything you do Ms Patel, but if you are determined nothing is impossible. You can def learn Oracle Financials. Jobs are in plenty if you have the right skill and knowledge. You will have to start as a fresher or can attain some knowledge through course available and doing the practice

Both have good demand, Oracle HCM is easier to get into as Workday requires certification which is possible with partners only

Both Oracle and Microsoft have career perspectives equally good. Microsoft erp is being more used by SMEs or smaller segment organizations, whereas Oracle having full suite of products is being used by bigger organizations. So it will be wrong to say which has more opportunities to offer. Both are introducing new features as required quite often.

Hi, being in Accounts Payable role you already are aware about business process involved in this department. In case your current org has some ERP implemented, take experience on that. It will enable you as an end user. Then you can enroll into SAP or Oracle training with a good institute where they focus on practical training than only the certification. In such a case you should be able to secure a job by demonstrating what all you know and not merely a certification

If you get an opportunity, better to switch to Oracle Cloud. You will always have an advantage of knowing JD Edwards and working on similar modules in Oracle cloud

Netsuite is a new product acquired by Oracle, and suits Small to Medium enterprises. Oracle Financials cloud is a full fledged erp integrated to all other ancillary functions within an organization whether it is a services org or manufacturing or any other industry,. Since you are an accountant try to stick to Financials area only.

Hi Suraj, thanks for your comment. There is nothing like Best ERP. It all depends on the budget and size of the organization and what stage they are currently in. There are specialized ERPs made for certain industries and there are generic ERP softwares like Oracle and SAP which can cater to almost all industries with required customization. Freshers (MBA / Accountants) who have good skills and understanding of their domain can get a good chance to start in ERP. Similarly technical consultants can get a chance to create reports and perform customization in supported languages

Ankit, Manager might be scolding as he might see something good in you and has expectation from you to improve and deliver. You can break your work into smaller chunks and start delivering, the scolding should get converted to appreciation. Best of Luck

You need access to environment to practice what you learn. Learning can be through you tube, documentation etc but will not be much useful unless you are able to practice it

Hi Prabhat, depends why you want to switch. I have seen lot of people just doing MBA to be in investment banking and you are already in it. Why do you want to switch to ERP ? Be clear for that first
