I was buying a bag on eBay and got ProAuthenticators to authenticate it and they said it was real. Second authenticator said it was real as well, just poorer LV quality. Third authenticator told me today it’s a “super fake.” So.. now I don’t know what is true.

So stressful. I have a bag and 2 authenticators said it is authentic and one said it is a “super fake.” So now, I don’t know if what I have is worthless or not.. though I paid $2600. Makes me feel sick.

Waste of money

I have the small bucket bag that I got about 30 yrs ago, my first LV. I hardly wear it, it’s still in mint Condition on the outside however the inside it’s disintegrated. I brought it to LV and they replaced the inside lining, along with the handles. I wish they would replace top/ bottom part all so it matches.This was done Xmas 2016, and still in the box. Need to take it out and wear it again

About 50% of retail to repair bags from what I can gather at other sites. They also suggest it is worth it if you love the bag/style. Also, the quality at LV is changing, so vintage bags are a nice investment.

I was in the same boat as you. I had the rim and inside replaced on my petite bucket back. When I got it back it was stunning but I didn’t like how it looked with the old vachetta which was also cracked and falling apart . So I sent it back again and they replaced everything . Now it’s a brand new bag. But when they replaced the inside on my bag they changed the date code to a code that shows it was replaced. Does your date code still have the original number or is it a new code?

i agree the cheetah collection is to die . but its not the cheetah collection , although I think the bag . Is beautiful , no way to get the smell out???....too bad its so nice such great condition. Surprised you can't get it cleaned its in such great condition ....she put it away just should not have used moth balls...lol it is stunnning though....I feel like you can get it cleaned somehow to get the smell out. no?
