UNDERRATED Reckoning GEN2 Features

Just some cool features I've noticed. I think I'm going with a 39 in blue, what about you!? Leave it in the comments! RolandDeason Animations & Designs By arialfx: th-cam.com/users/arialfx arialfx.com #archery #targetarchery #bowhunting #bowtech #reckoning #newbow
Nice job! Just picked up a second hand gen 2 and this explains a lot of stuff I need to know 👍😊
Pressure got to him in the last two arrows. Two big 9's
Great video. I ordered a 39 a little over a week ago.
Where are you from ?
Roland, very good content! Subscribed.
Read about Joel Turner shot IQ, and use his methods to cute your target panic rather than practising up close, it will clear much faster and more enjoyable
Did you watch the video? At 1:30 in he says he is following the shot IQ process.
It took 12 weeks but I got my Gen 2 39 today. Day 1 I'm happy.
I see someone sipping that Bobby drink
The amount of those flinches he has, you'd say he shouldn't be able to shoot more than 23-5x games. His ability to recover from them is amazing.
Maybe he also practice recovering from those flinches from training, could be by intentionally making those flinches too during training
It'll get worse
He put up a great fight, Bodie Turner is looks to be the future of archery!
Dont forget about Mathias Fullerton.
...even if you don't have target panic you should do it (TP Drills). Agreed!! Thanks for being vulnerable on film.
Love this so much!!! Need more likes? Check 'promo sm'!!
Try using a carter evolution or nockon silver back
Pokey thingy. That there's a technical term. Much better indepth look, but how about doing the adjustments. Like an actual walk through on setting it up?
Agreed. We need more target videos!
You have added a lot more information in your video. Great job on the video👍
Thank you definitely we need more target 🎯 videos. It be great if you do a follow up video of how you like the bow, the changes you have done to it!!!! I subscribed
Just got a grey Gen2 29 haven't set it up yet
How do you adjust the draw length it's different from the 38, I just picked up.
Pretty similar, just instead of a silver peg in the draw length hole, it is an open hole. you can put a small allen wrench through to keep it set perfect
Not sure if you have read it but the book "with winning in mind" by lanny basham is something I would recommend to you. It does alot to help build/implement a structured program into your shot. Definitely worth the $25
Yes I have, really solid book for sure. The main thing that clicked with me was the (can't remember the exact name) subconscious expectation of how good you think you are. For example "I am someone who shoots 300" kind of mindset
Don't downplay yourself bro be confident you got this go out and do some shooting maybe some free detergents just walk and talk with people you know show me your progress on your target panty
Getting in to archery less than a year ago, I would never have imagined how much archery is a mental game. Still got a lot of learning to do, video like this definitely help!
Thanks man! Yeah it is unfourtunately the hardest part about archery 😂
Good Lord that’s an ugly ass bow 😂
Look forward to your content!
Thanks man!
Thanks for going in depth on some of the features like how the adjustable grip works.
🏹🎯
Great vid! How many degrees will the grip incline? I have a custom 13.5 degree grip on the Reckoning 35.
Not sure actually, quick answer: a lot, long answer: I will get back to you lol.
So not sure exactly the standard for grip measurement but I measured with a digital angle gauge, completely flat the grip is 75.5° and maxed out all the way is 63.5°
What keeps the adjustment pin from coming through the base of the grip? Steel plate between the hand and end of pin?
Keep at it. We target archers need more archers like you for such a video.
Thanks so much, it really means a lot!
Thumbs up for target archery focused videos
Thanks man!
Since let-off is independent of the drawstops, could Bowtech or someone else make a slightly larger drawstop peg to accommodate 1/4” draw adjustments?
Absolutely, was my current thought, actually as long as the screw is the same size (I haven't checked yet) there are some stops Lucky Stops made for the Bowtech hunting bows and such that are different lengths/diameters.
You had me at “I want to see target archery videos…”.
That is awesome! I wondered if I was going to be alone in this but I'm glad I'm not haha.
Keep up the target archery videos.
Thanks man!
Great video. Can you go more into detail on setting the let off? It seems a bit confusing.
Thanks man, yep. I should probably do a video just on that but for now: you line the main hole where a peg normally would be with a typical mod, that is your starting point your zero. from there you put a screw in one of those shorter throw holes which the screw should be in the center of those holes. from there if you move the mod forward or back you will get more or less letoff. If you move it towards the longer draw length numbers in relation to where you are starting you will have more holding weight (up to 65%), if you move it towards the shorter draw length numbers you will have less (I believe up to 82%).
@@RangeRatArchery I just picked this bow up myself yesterday, absolutely love it! I think you'd get a lot of views making a video that talked through all of the different adjustments on the bow and the primary and secondary effects of making those adjustments, in detail, targeted toward people who don't have a lot of experience twisting cables/strings, making timing changes, etc. For example, I know I can adjust my draw length using the draw length specific holes but I also imagine changing the draw stop location and cam peg/timelock will have minute effects on the draw length as secondary effects. Right now the bow is set to 28.125" and I'd like to get a little longer but not all the way to 28.5" and it seems like I have a couple different options to get me there?
@@stoodz Yes definitely, not as much as the old reckoning sliding draw stop peg unfortunately but yes. As someone else mentioned different diameter draw stops is one. But all in all, most adjustable bow on the market for sure.
