Sadly the ferry crossings cost now prohibit families seeing each other, both getting to the Island and Islanders going to the mainland to visit friends and families. It can cost over £250 return

Life would be even better with cheaper ferry prices…

My £200 for an Island discount weekend return helps pay for this. They should rename the company Wight Leach.

When one is as heavy as someone me old dinosaurs it’s wise to remember that one’s footprints may outlast one’s visit to the Isle by rather a long time. Now how that for putting one’s carbon footprint in perspective?

Wow Im impressed! I grew up on the Island in the 70's and 80's and I can remember the shop you have in Ryde being a shop called Duffets pet food! But I must say you guys do make fresh quality sandwiches and cakes and even now when I return I pop in to buy some. Keep up the great work and well done to you all!

I love the Isle of Wight and used to holiday there quite often in the early 80s; Osborne Smith's Waxwork museum, Blackgang Chine, Alum Bay. Good times. I will take my son over at some point so he can experience it too - he is dinosaur mad so will love the fossil hunting
