The earth I feel on my feet while walking barefoot over mud, grass and earth... The fire I stare at with joy in my eyes.. The clouds.. He is a cloud to me. After his death i read the lines "you wish you were a cloud. Now you are a cloud." on this desk. He knew.. And he showed me what he meant by it. Every day in small ways so I could learn over the course of 8 years now.. We never truly leave, we just change. He didn't "leave me", he found a way to be closer to me, than ever. this song always gives me a feeling I can't really describe... whenever I listen to it, I see places that I've already visited and places I've never actually been to ... mixed up together , vivid in front of my eyes. I think of walking through a forest, travelling oceans, mountains, big cities, small villages. As if my life was one big journey. RIP Nujabes. Your music filled my life with light when it was shrouded in darkness. Times that were devastating for me and very hard to overcome. I was literally dead inside during that time but I learned to live all over again. You accompanied me on that journey in those dark days.
It's been 7 years since I heard his music...I still haven't forgotten what you brought into my life and I'm still grateful of ever second I have of my life. I just wish you where there to know how I feel and what you did to change it!. I miss you Jun Seba. A man gone to soon :(
