Hello!
I'm Natalie and this channel was created as a way of journaling my experiments with theatrical and special effects makeup for my senior project. Please keep in mind that I am not trying to tell you what to do, I'm on TH-cam because I think it will be a fun way to document the transformations my face will go through as a result of this project!

I wonder if you can use liquid latex to glue the whole prosthetics, not only blending the edges
What kind of Nivea cream did you use? Can I use vazeline instead?
Annoying music a verbal tutorial of what she is doing would be much more helpful at a slower speed.
I always warm up the molds, you get a thinner edge.
How do you warm them up? Oven?

You don't want to shock them molds, they will Crack when very hot.

I'd try a different powder, and maybe stipple the foundation. Maybe because you are oily you need more powder after. I wouldn't give up, because it looked beautiful at first.

Hahaha ok obviously you didn't watch the whole thing. At 1:55 I correct myself, and explain that the beginning of this video took place in Germany, even though we spent that day driving out of Germany and into Austria. But that aside, this isn't supposed to be an educational video, it's just a video memoir for me and my friends/family. If you're offended by my lack of geographical expertise then you may kindly leave me alone.

where did you get the plaster of Paris?
You can find Plaster of Paris at most home improvement stores, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc, as well as craft stores. I was able to get mine at Wal-Mart for cheap.

try some release agent or vaseline next time. Makes seperating easy and stops damage to your positive piece

+evelady77 Yeah it can be! I went to my local grocery store (Walmart for me) and found some, but it ended up being WAY more cost efficient to buy it from frendsbeauty.com. This is the link to the gelatin I bought: www.frendsbeauty.com/gelatin-powder-300-bloom.html. Hope that helps!
