I can't even disconnect the two vertical rods from the clips, they are thoroughly jammed in there. Vigorously working it with a flathead screwdriver eventually caused some other plastic component to break! This is just pure hell

there is a pc software program for the kc501 that will allow you to read/write and save directly to the computer, so no need for the programmer. you can also open the xhorse cloud browser on your computer and scan the qr code with your ktp or xhorse app on your phone to open your cloud share folder, then all you files will be share between your computer and xhorse devices. good job here.

It worked but now the light came back on after about 30 seconds running at idle and now it's flashing. So this might be an easy way to clear it but if there is an issue it will come back and now it's just flashing instead of being solid

Looks like an oil pump failure or possibly worn engine bearings causing a loss in pressure…

How did you put it into brake service mode.

Couple things for anyone about to tackle this .. 1- The lock guide on my CRV was clipped in towards the bottom. In the video it slides right out, but I had to unhook mine from the bottom then slide it out. 2- The clip is a serious pain. A hook type tool is necessary IMO. I couldn't even see the clip so I just started hooking anything I could grab and I eventually yanked it out. 3- MAKE SURE IT WORKS!! I thought mine was fine, put it all back together, only for it to not work. Turns out my new lock cylinder (from Advanced Auto) was either defective or just a piece of shit, and the rod doesn't lock in properly so it falls right out when you shut the door. I ended up super gluing mine in... I figure I'm at 230k so I hopefully won't have to do this again! Other than that, AWESOME VIDEO, amazingly helpful. Thank you so much!!

You need a scan tool that can recalibrate the ABS system after replacing rear pads or its going to thru traction and ABS codee

Its a software issue, not battery.

I did it too and worked just fine, right after i tried to reset airbag light (to no avail) and noticed it was back on. So I did it again and turned off again then came back in the house. Won’t know if it stayed off until tomorrow when i start it back up. Did yours come back on?
