I don’t have trauma but Ive dealt with a lot of illnesses in my life including learning how to take care of my mother at a young age after her cancer diagnosis, and I would age regress to cope with it, I am now age 21 and I still need to suck on my thumb or paci to fall asleep along with sleeping to a white noise machine Edit I also relate to the gentleman who started wearing diapers at a young age, I started having issues with my bladder which caused me to have accidents almost every day

I'm not comfortable with this being an adult baby thing...... I still enjoy coloring, cartoons from when I was a kid(he-man, bugs bunny, basically 1980s and early 90s), and I still have my Barbie collection, and I of course have a few stuffed animals in my bedroom .... But the last thing I want is to be an infant or toddler again..... If anything I'd want to relive my teens and make better decisions..... You just have to accept reality and deal with just being an adult(bums me out some days but it is what it is).

I find it as a coping skill BC my baby age is around 5 or 6. My daddy likes playing his role and takes care of me. We like it BC we bond with each other. I've always liked things that were child like. I mean I like bluey, paw patrol and strawberry shortcake berry bitty adventures cartoons for crying out loud. I was abused by a narcissist and I find that age regression is a gentle way to unwind and also loved stuffies since I was 9. There's nothing wrong with a coping skill as long as it isn't hurting u or someone else then its all good.
