Respectfully, quality of life has nothing to do with how much open world there is or what there is to start with. QoL is specifically aimed at mechanics in the game that are unnecessarily cumbersome for no meaningful reason, such as tremendous restrictions on "weight limits", having to spend 30+ minutes holding the F button to craft certain recipes (I think there are several recipes that even take over 1+ hours), mount speeds being a fraction of a percent faster than your character's normal running speed, and the list of QoL misses goes on and on and on. Is it the worst violator I've seen in this respect? Of course not. It's about average with respect to quality-of-life features that it offers. Hopefully these get addressed going forward.

Absolutely it is. Just coming out doesn’t mean it gets a break on a true rating. Is there room to improve? Absolutely. Is there time to improve? Of course.

There is a single-player mode on the main menu in addition to small-scale servers for players who want to enjoy the game that way. My critique is focused on the fact that those options exist, but for any players who want something more, like pvp or large-scale multi-player options, its non-existent, and is the single largest drawback to the game's longevity. Thanks for sharing your perspective, though.

I think this is probably one of the best observations of the impact Palworld will have on the gaming industry. I think it will be a catalyst for a positive re-direction for future games to come out as the previous formulaic approach to games like Pokemon is clearly stale when compared to something freshly imagined, like this.

Isn't that crazy? I wonder if Pokemon is preparing any litigation or if they just don't care at this point. Granted, with the attention and success that Palworld is seeing right now, Pokemon should probably start caring!
