Enjoy this matrix of romantic stories, gathered from friends and family during my research project Metropol - Bringing Sexy back! In a city that lacks sexual tension, Metropol investigates the romantic past engraved into the old buildings of Umeå. Buildings that used to accommodate 1950s events like pre-dance-ball parties involving heavy drinking and several intimate partners.

Tea culture in Northern Sweden was never a thing. Most tea was imported into Sweden after establishment of Swedish East Indian Company (SOIC) in 1733, but the golden spices did not make its way further up north. Bottniska Handelstvånget [Bothnic Trade Ban] refused the northern most parts of Sweden to trade goods with anyone abroad or south of Stockholm, so it is unclear how delayed tea culture'...

Mapping a 3x3 meter square that we had no desire to touch (physically) motivated the launch of the MEOS Telescopic Satellite. Its ability to investigate sites without touching them, reaching up to 3 meters, helped professors of NRG to process information and findings from the site - eventually to prove its quality of heritage and species.

In an attempt to map a site that we had no access to, we launched the manually controlled MEOS Satellite. ATC (Mads) and his five pilots documented the area of interest to later motivate it as a nature reserve of high value, due to its Samí heritage and natural species.

Trespass Please OAT BRICK PERFORMANCE

Performance in Camley Street Nature Reserve, London on the 28th of April 2023. Trespass Please aimed to infiltrate the building industry by offering a new brick outperforming any other material on the market. Beating concrete and traditional bricks on price, sustainability and U-value (higher than any other material), the Oat Brick will become developers' favourite very quickly.

Are emotions traceable in typewritten letters. After purchasing a typewriter, I quickly discovered how much attitude is transferred onto the paper, for example, if a letter is written with anger or impatience the ink will be splattered unto the letter making it very hard to read.

Ever thought about why buying paper is so nice? It is incredibly easy to source and when romanticised everything seems possible. Maybe, the idea of what could be created, is the reason for me to buy paper all the time? When in reality, nothing is ever created. On this huge roll of paper I am trying to explore what I use paper for and why. Enjoy
