This is my first time listening to this and my first time listening to Dream Theater. I thought that I would start with this album because, according to multiple people and sources, it is their best album, and it was an incredibly good decision. I love how each song perfectly transitions into the next. The sort is very complex and interesting, and the vocals and instrumentation is incredible. I love how Regressions starts out as a meditation type thing and it slowly transitions into an actual song, and then Overture starts with its heavy drums. It just makes my want to listen to the whole album every time I listen to a song on here. I have a feeling that for now on, if I ever want to listen to a song from this album, I would have to listen to everything before that first because it just makes sense. You’re basically starting a song in the middle of it by starting in the middle of the album. If you read this whole thing, I hope you have a great rest of your day and thank you for you time. 😊😊

James probably does his best work of his career here in this album. Transcends fully from singer to storyteller in the most spectacular way.

Have been a fan since 1992 when I randomly stumbled upon them. They have saved me on many occasions when I didnt want to be. I have been introducing my partner to Dream Theater for the last several mths. This song in particular she is enjoying a lot. I'm glad to be part of a world with music to bring people together
