As you said the front wing is higher off the ground than in reality. I have the same problem on several models of spark and minichamps, so I was wondering if there is any way to fix it? For example, if we heat up the front wing and then pull it down by hand, will that work? I would love to see such a video experiment because all collectors have a similar problem.
@@shotabaramashvili5972 I am not sure how resin would react to heat, but I am almost sure that it would damage all the decals unfortunately 🫤 it would worth trying it on a second hand broken model just for fun.
@@petercsato6742Yep, it would be interesting and also useful because this little mistake can ruin great looking model
@@petercsato6742 I found person who fixes f1 models. I asked him same question and he answered this: Hi. Spark models tend to soften when warmed up, but Minichamps resin is less likely to soften. Care must be taken not to warm it up too much, as this can also damage the decals. You should also consider changing the alignment of the front suspension arms, as bending alone will change the shape of the machine. In this case, the thickness of the spacers fixed to the pedestal will also need to be shaved to make them thinner.
I have two spark 1/43 scale with decals. Have not yet tried to apply them.
another model, like the 2023 Miami Red Bull, that I have yet to acquire.
each of the body designs seem to be quite different.....Interesting.
watched this video again as I am binge watching your channel (we have so many of the same cars) and I really want to purchase this exact same model.
Glad you did this rather than I. Every time (4 times) I removed a model and replaced it on the base I broke something aerials and mirrors and wanted to shoot myself for not doing it once, but 4 times to review. Will never do it again. As I also have this exact same model, thanks for the great views and for taking the risks that I do not have the courage to do at this time. Note: I display ALL of my models , except a few Bburagos on the bases with acrylic jewel covers. The Mini Champs bases are so cheesy, cheap and ugly that I have been tempted to remove them from the bases.
I picked up the exact same car, only from Mini Champs for 40.00 USD. Quality seems to be similar except that mine was that of Lance Stroll. Also, the Mini Champs did not come with the pit boards. Based on your review (I have not reviewed mine yet) I would prefer the Spark. Note that mine is only one of two Mini Champs that I own while I have 300 Sparks sports cars and F1 in 1/43 scale. Obviously, I favor Spark even though this Mini Champs model is quite good and was inexpensive.
I have the exact same model. Mine also has the same marking on the rear. As they are identical, I don't think that they are defects. This is good to know as defects are rare on Spark. I have a lot of the models as you and most have been reviewed on my channel as well. Gona look at your other models and compare. PS: I had a TSM BMW M4 of which had one of the drivers name misspelled. Another viewer and reviewer had the same model with the same mistake. Never would have known as we both conversed over TH-cam and subscribed to each other's channel.
should try to heat that glue up next time with a heat gun to keep everything in mint condition.
Mini Champs, no matter how much better they might be, come with cheap crappy bases and no protective storage box. Not to mention that you have to remove it from the base to see the opposite side. I broke a mirror on my first Mini Champs trying to put it back on the base. I will not be buying any more Mini Champs.
I have the 2000 model. Did something I almost never do was removing it from the base to review it and broke the mirror putting it back. Will never buy a Mini Champs again due to the crappy base of which makes it impossible to see the opposite side without removing it.
I have over 300 Spark models in my collection. Sometimes I break the golden rule and remove them from the bases and destroy them trying to put them back and have TH-cam video's about the experience. Love this model that you have and will be looking for it. Also, subscribed to your channel.
Thank You! 😊 Yeah, removing a Spark model is quite a bit of challenge 😁 Minichamps or any other ones are a lot easier to put them back.
Nice car, I really like the white and the blue of those 90's Williams cars. Was there a rule change for the cars in 1995?
Is it metallic?
No, plastic.
why would u want to remove it???
very nice model this
Oh yeah Russell made that big brain prediction waiting for the safety car and ta-da 🪄 one appeared as if Russell ordered it himself.
Magic 😉😄
Gotta collect the good times and the bad. Makes great for hindsight comparisons. 😅
Nice model, beautiful livery, where did you bought this model?
Hi, tibormodel.com
@@petercsato6742 unfortunately sold out, anyway thanks for the answer :)
Can we see the comparison video? Between the RB16B,RB18,RB19. Love your videos man keep It up❤.
Thanks! 😉 I will definitely do it!
Although he only won 10 races, he was one of my favorite drivers, and I saw him driving at full speed around 130R in the qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix that year. The cockpit of the MP4/5B, which was developed for Senna, was too narrow for the tall Berger.
Yeah, he is a great driver and was also very popular at the time. You are very lucky that you have seen him racing live 🙂 The first race I have ever seen on TV as a 10 year old, was his last F1 win with Benetton in 1997.
@@petercsato6742 Thank you for your reply 😊 '86 was the first victory for Berger and Benetton, and '97 was the last victory. He was a memorable driver who revived the struggling Ferrari twice, and also won the last victory for the Honda engine in the '90s. I would be very happy if there are other F1 model collectors like me.Thank you👍
🤗🖐👍
This one if definitly the best livery from 2023
Can’t wait for their RB20 Mobil 1 livery their going to make 😊
I'm getting a George Russell helmet like this in a few days
I like these helmets :) especially the new ones, they are nice and colourful. 👍
Hi. Is Audi Quattro Coupe from 80’s there ??
Nice!
Nice detail better than Minichamps 😂
Az szép, csak így tovább! 🙂
Szép gyujtemeny mit ne mondjak👏👏 egyebkent en is egy nagy F1 fan vagyok 13 eves vagyok es mar 10 eve nezem
Super cool ❤
Thanks 😊
1: 41?! How odd.😅 Still beautiful, but now I’m curious how/why not 1: 43? I would hunt down my own # 16 Leclerc sticker to add to the car because you’re right, that blank spot is hard not to stare at. Hah Must be someone’s factory error that slipped through the cracks of quality control.
Yeah I know. These remote control Bburagos are always 1:41 scale for some reason. It was on promotion at Shell in Hungary for a few months, none of them had driver stickers 😩
"Promosm" 🤘
Great review Péter
Thank You! 😊
Where do u get this from?
I got this from Pitlane Modelshop.
Very cool, I was never good at these model car stickers when I was a kid lol. I didn't know there were F1 models like this
Superb collection
Once the transmissions were "automatic," the real driving disappeared along with the Greats of racing.
It is part of the evolution of the cars, but I understand what you are saying. My favourite era was the 90s when I started watching F1.
3:55 - is this the chassis number that won in Donington in 1993? or is it another MP4/8?
Not sure, I can't remember, but I will check it, I have all the docs from each cars as well. If I find it I let you know :)
i live close to the track and didnt know the museum had closed, what a shame but at least i went a few times before it closed.
Yes, exactly! At least we have seen it :)
12:05 Mercedes-Benz W 125
These early 2000s Sauber cars are iconic at this point! Great little model! I have the 2003 C22 of Heidfeld
Yes, I loved this livery. When someone mention the team Sauber, this livery is still the one that comes to my mind first :) I have the Frentzen version of the 2003 model, that is also a nice amd colorful design.
Looks so cool. I wish i have one.
What a coincidence! I just acquired this model myself! I replaced my Bahrain GP Giovinazzi with it (my collection has a decent fluctuation). Great review
Thanks! Yeah you are right :) It was a great choice to change to this version, this model is a must have for any Kimi or F1 fan! 😉👍
Great cars. Greetings from Empire of Brazil.
Thanks! 🙏
Very nice collection man! You have a lot of great models!
Thank You! 🙂 Got a few new ones recently, will review them soon :)
Amazing

Incredible. The only match for this is the Indianapolis museum. Truly incredible.
I'd love see the Indianapolis museum. Unfortunately it is way too far from me 😔
