@@stygianhoplite I have three of their figures and they are a RIP off compared to what H.a.c.k.s or Xesray offer in terms of accessories and sculpt and they could totally lower their costs if they used Softgoods instead of those huge chunks of plastic they call Capes. I honestly look forwards to one day seeing your review comparing Epic H.a.c.k.s Red Sonja to Loose Collectors.

Agreed, it's funny how pearl-clutching weirdos managed to have such an ugly influence in entertainment from media down to to action figures. If someone is dressed like this, it's suddenly a national issue where censorship has to protect the masses. Prudes and philistines be damned.

For around $70 to 80 I think she's a pretty good deal given the accessories and really beautiful sculpt. They're also a smaller company. But definitely agreed and think the joints could use an update.

@@stygianhoplite had communicated the same to the sculptor on TH-cam and he kind of sidelined it...saying they are a sculpt first company. What a joke! I mean such beautiful designs and yet so old type of action figures.

That requires significantly more force and will result in scraping against the matte finish, not something I'm willing to do on an $80-90 figure. I could force the articulation on a McFarlane as well, and burst the adult diaper things they have going, not the intended construction. I agree to an extent, but the articulation on this figure is simply ugly and under-developed in some areas. I, and many others, prefer significantly better articulation than this. There are TP figures released which are proving how far articulation can go without sacrificing appeal.

​@@stygianhoplite Most figures are stiff straight out of the box. Her legs will go higher. Most folks love her knees, you are in the minority there I can tell you. Double joints on a naked and slim female figure is just ugly and anatomy is key as the are Frazetta not Spiderman :) . Please tell me of naked slim female figure like ours with hyper articulation that doesn't look like a robot. :)

@@Eamonod That shouldn't be the norm. It's okay to ask for good things lol. I've had numerous figures that were not remotely stiff out of the box. Death comes to mind recently. Her legs may go higher if you force it (talking about kicking straight out, which should be doable) and are okay with plastic rubbing on plastic. Not naked, but Cammy Figuarts (ancient figure) blows Teegra away in proper leg articulation AND has the sculpted knees which look great. Also Romankey Cowl, newer line, demonstrates the proper setup for a knee.

@@stygianhoplite I did say naked and slim so thats no to my question and my point is now made...again. There are not ANY female figures out there with fine slim anatomy and hyper articulation....as ya know...physics is a thing. :) Also the figures you sited are twice the price, from a massive company (we are tiny) and I do in fact find the articulation ugly. Our figures are Frazetta and if you know anything about him, you know that anatomy is key. We do prefer aesthetics over articulation, soz. You don't agree with that and thats fine but I think you are saying things that are not accurate or comparible. Not everyone wants hyper articulation, most just want a nice looking item they can occasionally pic up, mess about with and put back on the shelf. They also want a figure that looks like the legendary Frazetta paintings which is what we have done. :)

@@Eamonod Sorry, Cammy is not slim? Get real, she's got big thighs and so does Teegra -- doesn't mean she's not slim. Again, her articulation is vastly superior due to better design choices. That's a yes to your question. Roman Key Cowl is another glaring yes to your question -- slim figures with some musculature and gorgeous articulation. Hmm? The romankey cowl line is at Teegra's price point or slightly higher on their issues. Cammy is ludicrously expensive now because she's been out of print for YEARS. She was around $70 to $80 at release. Physics is indeed a thing, look into it if you think you can't mesh seamless joints into a beautiful figure. I'm weary of a designer who gives up and chalks off design as some mutually exclusive venture between articulation and design; that's just not how it works. Maybe stop generalizing, and speaking for "most" when you have no clue what "most" want. That sounds downright incredulous in a market that's proven head-over-heels that articulation is high on the totem pole of wants. There's a reason AAA companies are constantly re-designing figures with vastly improved articulation. Your figure looks good, gorgeous, as I said in my review. Its articulation was an afterthought. Reviews are subjective and that's just my 2 cents on your figure. Don't like it? Well that's how reviews work. Not here to gloss over the deficiencies that I see.

Definitely agree with you there. Romankey Cowl comes to mind also. Competition is intense, and that's good for collectors heh.

@@stygianhoplite Damn right, the Romankey X Cowl female body (and male as well) are so good, crazy good articulation while still maintaining great aethestic, the guy who designed those got recruited into InArt so definitely looking forward to his stuffs down the line.

Daaaaamn, my condolences bruh. If there is so much as a paint scratch on my female figures, I can't appreciate the sculpt.

@@DoesWhatItLikes sorry to hear that bro. Take a breath wrap it up and hope you get her replaced asap. Her elbows and knees are definitely weak spots unfortunately.

Any silicon oil is good. For liquid I personally use Traxxas Shock oil. And for spray I use Mann Ease Release 2000.

@@MarkVersion1 I just use sewing oil. Bought a huge bottle years ago and it never failed me. Pretty dirt cheap too

@@stygianhoplite thanks I use the hair dryer method on my neca figs but I saw from someone else's review that this caused Teegra's fingers to go o ut of shape. So I'll probably go the oil method moving forward

We made two figures so far and one is a female...with another female on the way sooner than you think. :)

Thanks for watching. Yep she's definitely a well designed piece for sure, looks stunning. As reviews are always somewhat subjective I definitely have a natural bias towards more articulation. That being said, her articulation is certainly good enough for me. I do see the tradeoffs/challenges though -- would be pretty hard to pull off the amazing detail they did sculpting the knee for instance, if a more mobile joint was used there.

Not too familiar with the character, but I figure she fits in well enough with my loosecollectors heh

I hear you friend. For me it's primarily the design of these ladies. They tend to have a supernatural/spooky vibe that I adore. I do hope they improve on the articulation big time. This was my first break on a ER/LC figure ;( Thankfully they already got back to me are going to send replacement parts. Thanks for watching as always good fellow.

Warm-hot water shouldn't cause any issues. I've used the same on numerous other figures and it's a common thing nowadays unfortunately with many figures. Sometimes there are joints past the point of no return. The plastic peg in my figure's bicep swivel was unusually gummy and flimsy on opening. Satanus' other arm was perfect though. I doubt you will have issues with yours; I think I got a dud. But do be careful and take it slow. Thanks for watching ;)

I've seen some characters that definitely caught my interest but with Ranni it was an insta-buy since I'm obsessed with Elden Ring. And they're both a lot more friendly on our wallets than most 1/12 figures from overseas these days for sure. Glad you enjoyed it.

@@stygianhoplite I'm not even like the biggest Captain America fan or really read the comics, but finding a solid classic Cap has been something I've been looking for in memory of my father, who loved Captain America so much he made one of the earliest fan-films back in 1970. Classic Shazam / Captain Marvel is another one I've been seeking and pre-ordered a Kingdom Come Shazam from 5ktoys that looks perfect. This is a great Cap figure. It’s a full on representation of how he looked in his 80’s comic book run drawn by the excellent artist Mike Zeck. Zeck best known for drawing original Secret Wars series, original Punisher limited series & Kraven’s Last Hunt. Awesome work. You can obviously add the 40’s style mask & shield which is cool but the more modern look is the best version.

@@xeesooxee8408 I have not tried taking her leg off and dont really see a need to. She is definitely a bit tricky to line up correctly. Try from the metal joint at the groin. Make sure it is parallel and lined up with her chest. I had the same issue as you lining her legs up initially.
