@392gotti8 maje sure it's not engaging first. There are 2 types of ebrakes bmw uses. One you need to disconnect the motor and use a triple square and one you can use the e brake tool

@@saleenandsupercars yes specifically made for it but I figured out I did what you said other people were doing in other videos by taking off the other device attached to the system and using a torx to hand twist it so after I did that the compression tool actually went down

@@saleenandsupercars next issue is I can’t take off the other wheel lol. Lug nuts are stuck and I started stripping the nut so taking it to shop to try to get it taken off.

@BeastingOn they have a kit for stripped bolts that might work. Just to check you don't have the brake applied right?

@@saleenandsupercars yes. And I tried swapping out the spark plugs to see if the misfire follows.

@dzr8125 ok, cool, so we have a misfire. You already did all the spark plugs and now tried the swapping the fuel injector. But now it's not starting. Recheck all the connector and the vacuum lines and that the intake manifold bolts are all torqued.

Okay the car is running again. when I come to a stop I sometimes feel the engine shake, it doesn’t always happen. any idea what it could be? last time it happened I got code for cylinder 2 misfire.

@dzr8125 ok so you have done spark lugs and fuel injectors. And the only code is for cylinder 2. I would look into a compression test. Could be lifters or cam related.

Not do bad just take you time should be about 3 hours for your first time

Do a comparison test see if that's in range. Might need to pull off the valve cover and check the springs and any broken

Fuel injectors it that doesn't fix it do a compression test

Thanks, very helpful, based on the part number you provided I was able to find the LCD display only without the frame, how difficult would be to replace just the LCD?

@@sergiohernandezd we didn't do the LCD because the cost wasn't much different when we did it.

The fronts are 265/35 18 rear are 315/35 18

You do not have to remove the door handle nor that bar. Its a little curious and tricky but super simple. It has a little latch and a ball that goes to the actuator. Remove those and actuator is free.
