Fantastic build, great work. One can see how much work and enthusiasm went into this. Maybe you can advance it sometime with a curved screen/ wall and some projectors for a full surround view to make it perfect.

it is now May 2024. This the first video I have seen on your Flight Simulator. Seems like his last video on this project is 6 years ago - around 2018-2019. You still doing these flying simulations? All I can say is Amazing what you have done to simulate an Airliner Cockpit. Good luck in completing the items missing to make your complete Aircraft Cockpit. Great video. take care.

It's very inspiring seeing your simulator and the all the work you have put into it. I have a lot of respect for you to have done so much DIY work instead of buying plug and play units.

Im a general contractor, and reasonably handy in many types of projects (including ham radio, simulation, even furniture etc), and I feel like this would be a fantastic project. Even for me however, looks almost overwhelming. I would have so much to learn to connect all of the switch panels, multiple PCs etc. Would assume even a sim setup like this must be $30k plus.

I would recommend painting the upper-head panels next to the main switch panel black, to make it a little more authentic and to just dimmen the light bouncing off. spot on my guy!

Wow - I'm impressed. I'm a retired engineer who is digging up all the hobbies I didn't have time or money for in the past. I've never seen so much loving attention poured into a simulator project, but it reminds me of the model railroad setups in the 50s and 60s. Congratulations, and keep up the good work. I'm envious.

Mate ..sounds funny but hang the whole thing up from the roof on trampoline springs ...and have a step going up up it ..itl bounce around slightly . A mate of mine did it , works great

The height of the cockpit doesn't look realistic. Seems like it is sitting very low on the runway tarmac.

Holy cow! And I thought I was super-cool since I work on the F-35 and have a commercial pilot's certificate, with a damn instrument rating!!! I can't fly an NDB approach very well anymore, though. But looking at this...I now feel pretty small! Incredible.
